I want to know that if a site based on a keyword having 50,000 searches and a low competition and now on PR-0 can score up if I daily post new content to the site and also builds up up some quality backlinks daily..
How much will the content add up in the race and how much time it can take up to get some PR.

The backlinks will help your PR. (If they're from sources with PR themselves.)

However, updating your content is good too. Google, and other engines, love updated content. But it won't help your pagerank, and you don't have to do it every day. So don't stress about constantly needing to update your content.

means you want to say that quality backlinks matters more than the content of the site...and also how much will the no. of indexed pages of a site matters in ranking..means a site ahving less no. of indexed pages and having too many backlinks..will it be getting a rank from google???

Who told you that PageRank score actually gives you rankings in the search engines?

PR scores don't mean much at all these days for ranking in Google for your keywords.

Yes, backlinks from other high PR pages will boost up your own PR, changing your content will not.

However, ensuring your content is kept up to date and you are updating your site with continual fresh content will help a lot in the rankings.

If you are concentrating on only high PR backlinks then you may be missing huge opportunities in SEO.
