Getting Traffic to Your Squeeze Page

There are many ways to send traffic to a squeeze page, one option could be to do SEO (slow, it's cheap sometimes) and another one to do CPC (faster, more expensive).

If you're using facebook as your squeeze page then it would make sense to run some facebook ads to your page. Facebook ads are pretty cheap when keeping traffic within Facebook.

What's your target market? Certain types of traffic generation work better than others depending on where your prospects are.

For example, if you're in the IM niche, this forum is a great way to drive traffic. You can use your signature, or even better, spend the $60 so you can have a banner in your signature. Next, contribute high quality posts and help people out. If people see you have their best interests in mind, they'll click on your signature to learn more about you. After all, if what you share for free is good, what you sell must be excellent, right?

If you're in a different niche, find out which forum is the most popular for that target market, and do the same thing. Almost every niche has an active forum you can contribute to.

I would also look into signing up for Help a Reporter. You'll receive several requests from reporters that are looking to interview you for their articles. This is a great way to get free traffic and publicity.

There are so many ways to get traffic to your squeeze page. Do some investigating and see what fits your personality and your target market.

For example, article marketing is great, but you may hate writing. As a result, making videos might be more your style. If you can reach your target market that way, go for it.

Don't know anything about article or video marketing? No problem, do a search on these forums, do a search on Google, or get some free PLR products on the subject. There's plenty of free info on generating traffic that will keep you busy for quite a while.

Zach, my target market at present is businesses that need help with hiring and performance management. I had never heard of "Help A Reporter", but I just looked at it briefly and it looks promising. Incidentally, I do like writing, but unfortunately what I am marketing is something where my manager (i.e. my mother) is the expert on the material itself and I am more of the technical expertise. I am just getting into the marketing end because we have an excellent product and no one to buy it since there are no marketers (by nature) in this family business!

A "squeeze page", by definition, is a page with a prominently incentivized opt-in and no other content.

Whether using a squeeze page or some different sort of page with an opt-in, to build your business and list, it's pretty fundamental in internet marketing - to avoid potential long-term complications/disasters/rule-changes - that it should be on a page which you yourself own and control and for the use of which you can't ever be subject to other people's changeable terms of service and their own sometimes idiosyncratic and even inconsistent interpretations of them. Otherwise your business may not be secure. Unless you're really Mr. Zuckerberg posting here under a pen-name, I don't think Facebook quite qualifies? It certainly wouldn't for me. Just an observation/suggestion.

You can create a Facebook page that has all the info for an optin page and get people to Like it. However, it should definitely link to the optin page on you own website and the one on your website should be the one that you actively market.

Well on facebook they are not called squeeze page they are simply an optin page.

However, you could use

head over to clicksia wordlinx or what ever and pay for optins - I only get a coversion from 5-12% such lists but its ok spend $20 get upto $300+.

There are lots of ways to get free traffic, if you have some time to drive it to your site. You could try
- traffic exchanges
- safelists
- classified ads
- forum posting
- article marketing

Do a few searches on this forum and you'll get lots of good advice on how to do any of these.

nothing is impossible with a site that is so big. just becareful and follow the rules and you will be ok
