How do I go About Checking PR for Thousands of Links?

Hi there,

Have a question. Basically I've been provided with reports from a seo firm with no data reported on PR. Obviously I don't want to check these manually.

So my questions
1) What is a good Automated Tool out there that I can use to check the PR of Hundred if not Thousands of Backlinks?
2) Is this something that generally should be reported? (i.e if you are a SEO firm do you report this and if not why).

More interested in your thoughts on 1 really as this is my problem right now!

Look forward to your response.
Diana

I'm not familiar with it directly, but it's my understanding that scrapebox can do this for you.

      This^^

Scapebox is a tool that can check a bulk amount of sites and grab the PR, OBLs, etc. It's a powerful tool that will be really helpful down the line.

      Good Luck.

Seo Spyglass can check the links of a site including LOTS of data including anchor text and PR of each link page. For thousands though, you may need the paid version.

To say of what is that it is not, or of what is not that it is, is false, while to say of what is that it is, and of what is not that it is not, is true.

Thanks for all the responses guys!

But I want to know which is the best and easiest one to use to test thousands of link - either Free or Paid. I don't mind paying for ease of use as long as I can gather the data correctly and it will save me time.

Also do these tools just gather the PR of the page or the domain as well? Would like to know that as quite often the PR link might be 0 but you might get link juice from the main domain

      Thanks again for your help!

Scrapebox, there's no competition. You can check PRs of about 1000 pages/links in about 20 secs without needing to change/rotate IPs.

With scrapebox you can check URL PR, domain PR, trim lists, etc... and export everything nicely. That's the only reason I paid for scrapebox lol (oh and scraping lists).

Yep just use scrapebox and load the URL's in and check Pagerank (make sure to use proxies) and it will give you all the PR for all the URL's.

Definitely scrapebox! After you have checked all the URLs for page rank (either to the domain or to the page), you can also check and see if it is fake page rank with an add-on (free). That will save you a lot of time!

As others have mentioned, Scrapebox is a good option. It has many other useful features as well.

    Scrapebox, of course.

I checked the PR of over 50,000 URLs this morning. You'll need a good source of frequently updated public proxies, though. Even 10 private proxies will burn out pretty quickly on PR checks.

Alternatively, if you've got DSL, you can reset your router and get a new IP once Google blocks it.

I think Google has many free and useful tools to do that.
Or you can ask SEO firm to give you a PR report.

OP wants to check in bulk. I'm sure there are alternatives, but still, the best option that I know of is Scrapebox.
