A question re. Wordpress and duplicate content for you.....

Hi!
My Wordpress website homepage is very light on content due to the way it was designed, although the other pages and blog posts are content rich.
The home page has a "featured area" which shows a snippet of a particular blog post from the "blogs" page. The featured blog is paginated over 6 pages - all full of good, keyword rich content.
My question to any of you Wordpress and SEO experts is this:
Does Google think the blog is duplicate content by seeing it in it's entirety, on both the homepage, and the blogs page?
