Please critique, first time SEO attempt

Hi, this is my first attempt at creating a SEO site designed to hit the front page of google searches. My keyword is blackjack strategy. Please let me know where I can improve, or what I have obviously done wrong. Thanks a bunch.

    Not a bad site, would maybe reduce the size of your logo area to bring the text more above the fold. Also the text is not very appealing to look at so would probably change that up a little. Remove the wordpress links in your footer, I would also create some sort of optin to start building a list

      Right now I am just worried about whether or not I have the right building blocks to hit the front page. I've never really done much with SEO, I did a lot of facebook, twitter, and youtube marketing when I started and now I want to expand. Just want to make sure I'm doing the whole SEO thing correctly in terms of where I'm going to rank on google. I still need to start gathering backlinks and stuff like that, but what I want to find out is if my on page SEO is solid as is...
