Recently I've seen several posts where people are selling WordPress plug-ins that will allow you to utilize Google Rich Snippets. Although these plug-ins are very pricey the point that you will see my post is that you actually do not need them.

I will show you how to replicate almost their entire functionality for free and using one free WordPress plug-in.

The methodology in doing so was not created by us. We simply did the research and put everything together in one place for you to find and learn from.

I'll take you through step-by-step from installing the WordPress plug-in to modify your PHP files and in certain cases creating a PHP file if needed.

And no, you don't need to pay $5.00 for this information. It is absolutely free.

    I have tried to do this and am failing somewhere. I would be willing to either pay $25 to have someone show me how to do this over skype or if you would rather have a link, I would place your link on a PR4 site with many PR3s either in content or on the blogroll. The site is a bookstore/coffee shop site and would have no problem making your link relevant.

    Post seems to have ignored Breadcrumbs. ( Rich snippets - Breadcrumbs - Webmaster Tools Help )

    In addition to a slight boost in CTR, having breadcrumbs also contributes to your site's internal linking structure.

    I highly recommend using this plugin: WordPress › RDFa Breadcrumb « WordPress Plugins

    This one defers from the other breadcrumb plugins in that it produces code that is immediately picked up by the Rich Snippet Testing Tool. Regular html breadcrumbs are not immediately picked by Google.

    Why do you guys need a plugin for breadcrumbs?

    I run hard coded breadcrumbs on my own WP sites/themes & have never used a plugin, the next time the page is crawled by Google bots the breadcrumb always shows up in the SERPs.
