notice of detected unnatural links - Should i delete all BMR links?

I got quite a few 'Google Webmaster Tools notice of detected unnatural links to httpxxx' today for several of my sites.

Questions:

I have lots of BMR links - do you guys think its better deleting them all , (which can be done according to BMR) or leave them as is?

Same question applies to ALN links , though i have no idea if they can be removed - anyone know?

Thirdly - what is the consensus opinion re 'resubmit your site for reconsideration' ??

Fourth - have anyones sites recovered from the impending drop in rankings? My rankings have NOT dropped , but from what i read, in 2 weeks time or less they will be gone

Regards

Marty

Google has now decided to remove unnatural links and has spotted many networks providing paid links. Removing such links can keep your site on a safer side. For further reference have glance at this link Google Eliminates Another Link Network, BuildMyRank.com - Just One Of Several?

I deleted all my links in BMR already. It's a lot of time and energy wasted, but you have to realize that old ways of doing SEO are already becoming very redundant.

Some say those BMR links might still have some use for yahoo/Bing, so its a question of which SE you are following. I know which SE holds all the cards though....

ALN cannot be deleted, unless you can contact the blog owners themselves, who will probably ignore you. They have 25000 splogs mind you, but there's no way any public blog network is going to escape.

As for not dropping, I too did not drop initially, but give it time, the algorithms have this factored in; it could be large or small depending on your link profile.

Of course, better than a penalty. I'm back on the first page though, top 5 not yet back at #1

I got the notice 2 weeks ago. My traffic dropped 25-30% and I deleted the links. And yes my rankings dropped from the lost links but I am now not in the top 100 for 2 KW and I was in the 40-50 rank before BMR for these KW.

            Thanks

Yes. But they KWs I only used BMR for are the ones that dropped and I would guess this is due to them being de-indexed before I deleted them.

I didn't delete my BMR links and nothing has happened. In fact, my traffic is up.

I am in this situation with one of my sites. I'm contemplating following the directions in Google's message, or just continue on ignoring the message and building quality links.,

Those links aren't going to do a whole lot if you're penalized.
