If page A has a no follow link of URL "B", will it restrict the PR value of page A to pass to page B or else will it disallow the PR value of Page B to pass to Page C?

    Some people certainly believe so.

And they quite often express their opinion as if it were simply factual.

I don't believe it's nearly as simple as that, myself.

As far as I know, I haven't ever seen anyone allege that. It's not easy to imagine how a no-follow backlink (or indeed any backlink!) to page B on page A could affect any linkjuice passing from page B, is it?

I don't check whether backlinks are "no-follow" because to me, it makes no difference.

Most search engines seem to ignore "NoDoFollow".

Many people believe that even Google doesn't discount "no-follow" nearly as much as it sometimes claims: it's ambiguous at best.

People who have already decided that "no-follow" backlinks are not so good for SEO won't be interested, but others who are a little more open-minded will find many threads here explaining/discussing interesting things about no-follow links: this one might start you off, and then there's more here, here, here, here, here, and so on.

I'm still in the learning stages of this SEO stuff, but I don't pay too much attention to whether the link is no-follow or do-follow (and I'm still a bit confused about the link that does not list either attribute). Earlier on, I did notice however that Yahoo Site Explorer consistently listed pages with no-follow links to my site. I know Yahoo and Google are two different monsters, and Yahoo is now on the Bing search engine from what I gather, but if Yahoo was counting no-follow links shouldn't Google as well? Furthermore, since they are supposed to be irrelevant when it comes to passing link-juice along, wouldn't that naturally make them more organic?
