Scrapebox after Penguin?

Is Scrapebox still worth buying after this last update. My understanding is forum links and blog commenting is almost useless. Thanks

    Let me put it this way, nothing is useless and never was the idea is to tune things up so you adapt to the new changes and go forward.

    I used and still use SB with very good result.

    To make an example:

    One of the things to "combat" the new update is to make things look natural
    A way to make thing look natural is anchor diversity.
    A way to diversify your anchor is SB. Load a 10k list, 20 url with 200 anchor text each and 300 unique comments and the things are done you get your diversity.

    Now the way you chose those 200 anchor text and the way you write the 300 comments can make a difference.

    IMO no tool can be totally useless if you know how to make use of it. e.g. you can use Scarpebox or any other link harvester just to get the urls for manual submission and not for auto posting. This way it can be helpful for you.

    Scrapebox would be worth it even WITHOUT the blog commenting feature. It helps automate so many different tasks.

    Blog commenting is definitely not useless. Blasting away blindly at thousands of blogs is obviously a bad idea these days. But leaving legitimate comments on quality blogs is still a very strong method.

        You pretty much take a gamble. There are plenty of blogs that are not akismet enabled, though. If you're going the route of automated commenting. (Which I don't think is the best of ideas at this time.)

    Definitely get scrapebox, there are just so many things you can do with it. It's a true seo work horse.

    Do a google search for scrapebox guides and you will find plenty of free help.

    It really depends on what your business model is and what SEO strategy you use. It has some awesome modules that may be of some use but if you're just talking about blasting comments, then keep in mind that comment blasting is ineffective, gathering a blog list takes hours upon hours, and submitting takes hours upon hours. You will waste alot of time this way. So unless you know exactly what you plan to do, don't buy it.

      At $57 it's a steal. Even if you're not sure what you're going to do with it. I've been using it for a year and a half and am still discovering new things that it can do.
