Blog commenting it is a good way to increase the awareness of the site and get more referral traffic. choose the hot and new topic to leave comment. leave your comment at first or first page to increase the visibility of your links. don't use any stop words in the comment with simple sentence. understand which one is described by the author before leave your comment.

Yes blog commenting can be quite effective and can certainly give you good traffic as long as a lot people are able to view your comment. Also make sure that your comment is indeed relevant to that blog, so that you will not be considered as a spammer.

Depending on the blog quality, niche, and amount of visitors it could be good not only for rankings, but for getting organic trafic as well.

As for rankings, it would be much better if the blog has high PR and if backlink to your site is dofollow

It depends. Blog commenting can increase ranking and traffic to your website. However, aside from commenting on blogs that are "dofollow", these blog websites should have a PR of at least 3 and must be relevant to your niche or keywords. Commenting on commentluv enabled site can be good for promoting your content or website as well.

Focus on visiting good quality blogs that are related to your niche, and concentrate on building a reputation rather than just leaving spammy links everywhere. A lot of blogs are 'nofollow', so try and find some high PR 'dofollow' blogs and focus on contributing great content. It may actually get you some traffic.

Yes, blog commenting can really be a good way of building your links. You just have to make sure that you're giving value to the post and the conversations, and that your link actually supports the ideas that you've brought up. If you're just going to leave a link there without the intention of adding value, whether you've done it manually or through automation, it's going to be bad.

I usually try to mix it up. Some comments I'll use just anchor text (If I see that others have successfully done it), other posts I'll use my name + anchor text, others just names, etc.

Basically just mix it up as much as you can.

To do blog commenting the correct way it is pretty simple, take time to read the blog post and when you make a comment make it relevant to what the post is about, do not make the mistake of just reading the title of the blog post to save time and making a comment just from that. Because most likely your comment may be a bit off topic and you risk getting your comment deleted or not approved.

Very dangerous in my opinion, if you're going to rely on it for future rankings.

In most cases, one day the blog owner will decide that he/she is getting too much spam and slap a nofollow tag on all of the outbound links and all of your work gets wiped out in the click of a mouse.

Focus on high quality guest posts.

I do still get a few hits of traffic from blog comments I left months ago, when I was spending a lot of time trying to rank on Google, but social media is much more effective. By that I include Yahoo Answers, You Tube, Stumble Upon, Linked In, and this forum, as well as Facebook and Twitter.

It's not too hard to rank if you're going after the right keywords. But as far as pure traffic, social media sites can be a little bit easier to work with. (Long term, though, you still want to try and rank for your keywords.)

For traffic, it seems most effective to use you name and not put a link in the past.

Since Panda and Penguin does the anchor test need to be varied? If bloggers don't like you using a keyword for your name, what do you use to vary the text?

I know this is going to be a lot harder than the usual, the best way is to find a place where you can use the anchor text in such a way that it would give value to the page where you're going to leave your link. It's part of the challenges of link building through blog comments.

Blog commenting is only good if you provide really usefule comments for the readers. And it should be something like "Thanks for sharing awesome info" or "Great info" etc.

Try to give some more info about the content with your comment. So that it will attract user and this will get some visitor to your site.

I've been engaging in blog commenting for a while now. It seems to be very effective even after the penguin and panda updates.

Make sure you use relevant anchor text. You also want to make sure your comment is longer than 2 sentences. Don't just say "Hey good article." That will be represented as spam and your comment could get deleted.

It's smart to diversify it though. Don't go 100% anchor text. Google seems to be targeting sites with obvious anchor text spam. So mix it up a little here and there.

We get quite a bit of traffic to our blog through blog commenting. Honestly, I don't even bother looking at whether or not it's no-follow or not...if I have something interesting to add, I add it. If I want to connect with the blogger, I'll leave a comment.

As above, spamming lots of blogs with irrelevant or none valuable comments that do not contribute to the post offers no value at all. Whilst commenting on quality blogs and actually adding value to the post is good and will give you quality links that is good for your overall link profile.

blog commentiong has long come when it comes to backlinking strategies.. but it needs to be smart on this matter.. just imagine you spend lots of time posting on a diffferent blogs.. and the site owner notices that many spammers are coming around to post fake or poor content post on their blogs.. how would he/she proceed? deactivating the posting feature ion the site.. and what about your time and effforts from then on? going directly to the trash!! so just keep an eye out on blog commenting method to build backlinks 2 ur site!!
