remove links using sitemap/robots.txt
- SEO |
I have two 404 errors on my site according to Google Webmaster Tools, neither pages exits that are producing the 404s, what is the best way to tell Google they don't exist anymore?
They are old pages that just aren't used anymore.
We have recently uploaded a new sitemap.
Also, on the site there is a call back facility for customer to book a phone call. These are not being picked up by Google in GWT but they do appear in search results.
is there a way of making them non-searchable by using Robots.txt?
Many thanks in advance
