Newbie Tip For Adwords

I'm sure most of you have already picked up on this tip if you have been running any sort of Adwords campaigns but I just thought of it and wanted to share for anyone else.

I just started running ppc campaings maybe 2 months ago, I'm still trying to get the hang of it. The keywords, the groups, multiple ads for testing. Kind of a pain in the ace.

But anyways, I work nights at a local hospital. Plenty of time for checking the status of my one profitable site. I am only averaging about 100/day. Way up from my initial 3-5/day .

I noticed that when I got off of work and would get home and check my Adwords account that a ton of clicks would have already been used up, taking away most of my daily budget before the day really even started.

And I'm certain that most of you already know about the scheduling option for when your ads run.

But here's the thing I just thought of aside from running your ads when say the hustle and bustle of your niche is going on.

I want people to buy stuff through my site so I can make money right?

Since I work nights and it's pretty quiet at times, I have all night to surf. And shop. And compare pricing. So perhaps I have like an hour, or more, to compare prices. If one site has a lower price, I basically close out that other site.

That other site could've been mine, you know what I'm saying?

If my ads are running all hours, I might have 75% of my daily budget used up by night owls that are killing time by comparison shopping.

That took a long time and a lot of writing to put that out. I hope someone finds it helpful. Ha ha.
