The 'title' of a blog post may be called the 'face' of the write-up posted by a writer, because the title gives an on the spot and instant idea about the information in the writing/post. Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth-II of the United Kingdom of Great Britain told, "Face is the best recommendation". In fact, Her Majesty is quite right in her historic and significant comment. Considering the ins and outs of a material of writing, and going through it, are a time consuming and also a tedious business. So, a great many readers get attracted to a captioned write-up just glancing over the 'title' of the write-up such as: story, essay, letter, account, philosophical thought etc. Consequently the title of a write-up of a blog post must be eye catching, attractive, and thought provoking as far as possible. So, the following points should be borne in mind when giving a title:
I have tried here to throw some light on how to create and give a proper title to a write-up. I don't think that, this is enough. However, if anybody bothers to abide by the above-mentioned points, I think, he/she can give a title to his/her own blog post as far as possible properly. So, if anyone of you thinks that there are still short-comings in this write-up, you may point out those short comings, and express your views through comments, since I am a new comer in this forum. Hope to be excused of my short comings and errors.

- The title should be brief.
- It should be mind-catching.
- The title should be given upon completing the write-up.
- Attention should also be given to the clarity of the title.
- Symbolic signs in writing the title should be avoided as far as possible.
