How I Got To $300-400/Day From SEO In 2 Years (Post Penguin and Panda)

Hey, after getting a few pms asking about what type of SEO I do I figured I would spill the beans on how I do SEO

First off though, when I say $300-400 a day I am ONLY talking about the income I generate from sites that I personally own. While I still create sites and do very well from SEO, most of my income now comes from clients of my agency or online businesses I run.

So with that being said here is exactly how I have gotten to $300-400 a day and create SEO sites that survive updates

The Two Types Of Sites That Make My Income
The first thing I have to point out is that I make 2 types of SEO sites. These are

Fast Ranking Niche Sites

These are the usual stereotypical niches sites you see. These make up about 20% of my SEO income. I flip most of these and am NOT a huge fan of these types of sites.

Why?

Because Google actively tries to kill them. I know no matter how good my SEO is, they will eventually get tanked. I am all about long term income.

Dont get me wrong these can be extremely profitable (especially when flipped) as well as extremely passive. But again I want to get rich and stay rich so I try not to focus on these as much as my other type of site

Large Extremely Competitive Authorities

These are large sites that people actually use, and are fueled by SEO traffic. I have 5 of these at the moment. They make up about 80% of my SEO income.

I love these sites because they are a blast to work on, they eventually become EXTREMELY competitive, and they earn me far more money than a niche site.

The down side is they do take work, and since people actually use these sites they are not totally passive. I have 2 employees who help me run some of these sites

So with that being said...Here is my exact strategy for ranking and monetizing these sites

My Fast Ranking Niche Site Strategy

Step 1 : Keyword Research

First off keyword research is the single most important skill in SEO. The end

I know some people might disagree and say it is all about backlinking. But at the end of the day your backlinking can only be so good AND even if you suck at backlinking you can pay someone to do it for you or just buy links.

With that being said, I do a totally different type of keyword research. The big difference between my research is that I DO NOT RELY ON TOOLS TO FIND KEYWORDS.

While I will use free tools (majestic, adwords tool) to check the stats of keywords, I rely on my head to find keywords.

You see the big issue with using keyword tools to locate keywords is that they have SERIOUS pitfalls. The biggest is they do not have insight on where to look and do not actively look for uncompetitive terms.

Keywords tools usually connect keywords by a few things
A) Their relation in the english language
B)Loose niche connections

For example if you type in : Video games, a keyword tool will not bring back the keyword "World of warcraft". This is the BIGGEST video game of all time, and the keyword tool will not make the connection. This is just a SMALL example of a pitfall.

With that being said, I released a WSO about 6 months ago showing how I constantly find extremely untapped niches

NO...I am not going to sell it to you or even make you opt in.

You can download it here for free. (It has already sold around 3k copies..More than enough for me)
https://s3.amazonaws.com/DreamNiches/DN%2BBonus.zip

So instead of me explaining EVERY thing about keyword research. Just read that.

In short, the best place to find keywords is NOT keyword tools. Its in the trends of the internet and finding pitfalls in the keyword tools and THEN looking there because no one else will be

Step 2 Backlinking

First off...I am guilty. When previously bought niche sites I ONLY went after EMDS.

Regardless of whether you believe it is still a smart idea to make emd niche sites or not, Google blatantly hates them. For that reason my new niches sites will no longer be EMD

Now when it comes to backlinking for niche sites I have two strategy

The Strategy With A Budget

I am EXTREMELY impatient. There for I use this strategy 9/10 times on my niche sites

Also because of my keyword research, it is very rare that I cant rank high on the first page within a month if I just hit a site with juice, so I simply buy the juice.

I will go out and purchase 10 PR 2-3 sites. I use a tool called PR powershot to find these sites for about 20-30 a pop. This will cost around 30 bucks each

I then make my niche site. I will then turn all of these PR sites I just bought into related niche sites. This is so I can fuel my new niche site with high pr, niche related, epic link juice (pretty much instant page one if your keyword research is right)

I do this by making 1 post on the PR site about my niche. I then make all of the metas and onpage SEO line up with the niche. I then leave a SPONSOR BY (link) to my site at the bottom of the page.

I use close variations of my main keyword as the anchor text. All n all the sites have highish PR, high relevance, and one outgoing link. This makes them wrecking balls in weak niches.

Now of course, having the same anchor text like this is dangerous. You now need to do

Basic Backlinking For Niche Sites

What I do then is load up scrapebox and ONLY post to PR2+ auto approve blogs. I make 100 of these links. I use random names as the anchor text. This totally desaturates my anchor text profile, but the strong PR sites are the one with the main anchor text. (This is how most big sites work. Normal natural mass links almost never have the right anchor text)

I then let the site sit for 1-2 weeks. I will then start hitting it with 300 likes and 300 retweets every 2-3 days. (fiverr)

Why? Because legitimate sites that are getting a lot of links also gets social signals. And yes Google watches likes and retweets like a hawk.

I then will hit the sites using various tools EVERY day with a bit of link juice from different link sources. CONSISTENCY AND DIVERSITY

(I also filter these links through 160 different proxies and spin content to 240%+. I also make sure it is totally readable. In short every article I post is 100% unique, 100% readable, and 100% untrackable...I do not care to start a spinning debate, but I am a strong believer in spinning)

Here is an example of a link building routine ( I have this ALL scheduled with programs

Mon- 20 PR1 wikis
Tues- 4 PDF links
Wed - 20 high pr social bookmarks
Thurs-20 high pr only comments
Friday- 20 authority social profiles (game informer.com, deviant art, etc)

Rinse and repeat.

I then ALSO send a crap ton of niche related links to my high PR sites. This makes them not only relevant to my niche on page wise, but relevant link wise.

In short this virtually nukes any untapped niche. I rarely fail to rank with this. Here is why

1. High PR relevant instant juice right off the bat (usually does the job alone)
2. Social proof justifies my links ("oh this sites getting popular..No wonder its getting links")
3. Untraceable, high pr, diversified, CONSISTENT backlinking.

and boom. Its truly that easy.

Of course you ALSO need to make sure that your on page SEO on your niche site is right. That is taught in the free course I linked to above

Don't Have A Budget?
Well here is what you do

A) Get a job so that you can have a budget. If you want to REALLY make money from SEO, having at least a $300 per month budget on tools and links will get you results MUCH faster.

Is it absolutely required? No...Does it help a ton and make sense? Yes. If 300 a month is unreasonable to invest in your business, it is unreasonable to expect a ton of success.

B) Replace the high pr sites with wordpress, tumblr, and blogger blogs. Not NEARLY as effective but it does work

So ta da..That is in a nutshell how easy it is to rank niche sites. Remember the key is REALLY FRICKING GOOD keyword research.

Now for the more competitive model

Extremely Competitive Profitable Authority Site Model
Now there is a ton to this, so I want to just overview it.

In short, my favorite way to rank for big money competitive keywords with a ton of traffic..is to make sites that DESERVES to belong there. I then use my SEO skills to get them there.

Here is everything I do

Step 1: Plan The Site

I honestly do not plan my sites by keyword research or competition

OF COURSE I use common sense. After doing SEO for so long I am not going to go after keywords like "lose weight" or "make money online"

What I aim to do is take over a entire niche or become a HUGE player in it. This way your whole site can achieve a broad ranking (you basically rank for any keyword related to your niche without trying.)

For example if you search anything College dating related, you will not be able to miss one of my authority sites I created awhile back (warning: this is an extremely offensive immature site..Do not dig for this unless you have a sense of humor..I made this when I was a 20 year old brat)

What I do instead is think about a site that I

A) Will generally enjoy working on
B) Can give a ton of value and good use experience with
C) Can be profitable
D) Will attract press (more on this in a sec)

I basically pick my hobbies or things I know have a big fan base. My goal is to make a site people come back to and actively search for.

I will then pick a VERY brand able domain name. Usually has no relation to my keyword (More on this in a sec)

Step 2: Generate Natural Traffic and Place Valuable Links

Then what I do is go out and attempt to grab relevant traffic from every place I can on the web. Not only does this generate great natural links for my site, but it also gets REAL interested traffic going to my site.

I then make SURE to have Google analytics on my site and make sure it is being shared with Google.

Why? So that Google sees how people interact with my site. I want them to know I am awesome and I have no intention of hiding from them

Is there 110% factual proof that Google ranks sites based on this...No..But do you think they just ignore this? Cmon now...

Here is what I use for natural traffic

-Stumble upon paid discovery:
Okay so this is not technically "natural" traffic. The secret is to TURN it into natural traffic and users

For 10 bucks a day I can get 200 relevant visitors to my site. I then write an EXTREMELY controversial or EXTREMELY helpful attention grabbing piece of content and send them to it. I then place a ton of links to other controversial topics in the site on the page of content.

Stumble upon traffic is EXTREMELY bouncy but if you do this, you can start getting readers/users almost right away because they cant help but read your content and click links.

Boom instant fan base (especially if you get them to subscribe). All reflected in analytics

-Forum Traffic

Holy crap I love forum traffic.

I go out and make account on 5 high traffic niche related forums. (just go to big boards and find the biggest semi related forums in your niche)

I then make helpful post...Or extremely controversial post. It truly depends on the niche. Do not spam, and actually contribute to the forum.

I then place a extremely enticing signature link with a headline you cant ignore. (My signature on WF is an example of this..Trust me I know it is stupid..but 100 free visitors day just from WF to my latest authority site is not)

I then link to a extremely hard to resist page. This page will have headline and places to go that a niche relevant visitor cannot resist.

I will then post 5-10 times a day on these 5 different forums. This gets my headline/forum add to often generate 200-300 visitors a day if I do it right.

DO NOT SPAM.

-Guest Posting/Manipulating The Press

No I do not guest post in the typical sense. Posting to other crappy niche sites is pointless

What I do is again make a extremely controversial or EXTREMELY helpful informative posts/content on my sites.

I then have a excel file with the contact emails of EVERY news source/press site on the web. I also will collect the contact forms of big niche related sites.

I then will hit the content with a ton of fake retweets and likes. This makes it look like people are going ape crazy over it (let me explain why in a sec)

I will then email every single one of these sites and link to the content. I will then ask if they want something similar or if I can pitch them a article or if they might want to use it as a resource for a story.

I usually will have a 20% success rate with this. Here is why

Editors/writers at press sites HAVE HAVE HAVE to write and generate content. Finding something new to write about every day is tough. On top of this there content HAS to create views and commotion.

This is how sites like huffington post and other sites make money.

Content+shares/conversation = conversation.

On top of this A TON of these sites do not check their sources because they are so desperate for content. They JUST want a story and page views

So when they see my awesome content and then see it is creating a buzz they latch onto it because it is a free easy way to get new content and buzz with zero work.

(They also do not check to see if your likes are even real... they are so set on PAGE VIEWS PAGE VIEWS PAGES VIEWS...)

This is how many multi million public relations experts get their clients in the press constantly..Ironically it works great for getting links/traffic too

So in short...MANY times my 1 month old sites gets linked to from huge news sites or I am able to guest post on HUGE relevant sites.

I am talking sites like
-Pro blogger
-Search engine journal
-Huffington post
-Fox news
-Ask men

BOOM, not only do I have HUGE authority links, but I now have tons of traffic coming to my one month old site.

With all 3 of those, I have a authority site with authority links and NATURAL INTERESTED traffic in 1-2 months. I have gotten 300-1000 visitors a day with this alone

If your site is set up right, you will get subscribers and people ACTIVELY searching Google for your site.

Woah...Google now become obsolete if it DOES NOT rank your site

But thats not the point. The point is Google is going to go "HOLY CRAP" WE NEED TO RANK THIS NOW..

And that is where the evil SEO comes in

Step 3: Evil SEO

Okay our site is now a authority and does not even NEED Google. Which means we are in the perfect spot to UTTERLY destroy a SEO niche

Here is what I do

1. Create a Google authorship profile for the site. This involves making REAL
-Google + page
-Facebook page
-Twitter
-Instagram
-Linked in

(I just started using this FYI)

Fill out ALL of these with heavy niche related info. Then connect them all via Google plus. THEN connect your site to your Google plus with authorship.

Why? Because now Google has linked your profile with authority. This means any new content you make takes priority in your niche.

THEN, create content on news in your niche.

For example, when the EMD update came out, on Source Wave I made a post about guess what... The emd update.

This post ranked 5th for the search "EMD update" in less than a hour. Because of my Google authorship Google ranked me with giants like SEOmoz, search engine round table, etc (with zero backlinks)

Aka my fairly new sites competes head to head with GIANTS in my niche because of the authority of my authorship

2. Make posts and content targeting keywords in your niche

This is where keyword research comes into play. Pretty simple. pick SENSIBLE keywords in your niche and make content optimized for it

3. Link to these posts

Here is how I do it

I buy 10 PR 4-5 sites. I then make them relevant to my niche. This costs around 1000-2000 dollars. Again if you plan to run a business you need to plan to invest.

I then link to these new keyword optimized pages. (No more than 5 links per site)

I will then hit each post/page with 1000 likes and retweets. Now it has social momentum

And THEN I will hit it with wikis, comments, etc

Oh and then guess what I do...Hit up the press and huge sites again.

Why? When you have already been sited on big sites, it gets 10x easier to get cited on others.

"Oh you wrote for problogger and ask men? Okay your qualified!"

The end. When you combine that with natural traffic-big authority links-authoriship-social signals- and untraceable backlinking...Literally nothing can stop your site.

You have officially made NOT ranking your site bad for Googles business.

Heres where the SUPER QUALITY site comes into play

Now that people are flooding your site, they will subscribe, they will come back and they will search for your BRAND name in Google.

At this point even a uber penalty will not slow your site down. On top of that if Google slaps your site...People will get PISSED. You wont even HAVE to write the complaint emails.

And just like that you own a niche.

How To Monetize

When I make these types of sites...Here is how I monetize

Step 1- Get them to opt in to your list. Learn how to convert traffic NOW

Step 2- Build massive trust through value and brand quality

Step 3 - Get them on a reocurring payment system for something people in the niche would want. I ALWAYS create my own products and services. Far easier to sell and brand to my lists.

10 dollars a month x 100 people = 1k a month totally passive

10 dollars a month x 1000 people = 10k a month totally passively

And this is how internet marketing SEO fortunes are made.

Swooo...That was a lot of writing. But there you have it in a nutshell. Everything I do to tear up niches.

Hope you enjoyed

Curious on how you go about hosting sites that you buy with PR.

It would be quite expensive to buy 10 sites for $1-$2k like you mention, then host them on 10 different servers to avoid detection by google (since they all have links going to your main site).

Im guessing it isn't necessary to host them separately?

When you snap a domain with the help of PR Powershot it goes into your Godaddy account since the software works with Godaddy auctions only. Before you can transfer it to another host you have to wait 2 months (ICANN rule). How do you work your way around this issue? Do you start building the site while it's on Godaddy, then transfer it, or do you wait 2 months before you do anything?

You inspired me to do some testing with stumbleupon.

Im not sure I would buy/host a PR2 site though (unless it was making money on its own)...It would be so much easier to outsource 5 articles on fiverr and create your own web 2.0, then just wait 3-4 months for it to go to PR2.

Check out the site in my sig. Most of sites are heavily edited forms of the canvas theme from woo themes (Source waves theme for example)

However, for other sites (for example one is a online gallery) I get custom themes designed or just make a straight html site.

For clients : it truly depends on the client. I have one that pays 5 figures a month, so we go all out. Networks, press manipulation, linking etc. In short they rank 1-3 for some offensively competitive keywords.

First of all, thanks for posting so much free information. Its very valuable.

I'm not trying to be negative in any way , but some of the things you mentioned above do worry me a little.

    1) Why are you worried about google slapping you? Is it because you know that some of your SEO / backlinking methods are borderline gray?

I've always thought that building a useful authority site and allowing other people to link to you (because they love your content) , will never get you in trouble. This is what I consider an authority site, am I wrong?

    2) I know the recurring business model perfectly as I used to run one and made thousands. But how about if you're in a niche that doesn't fit well with this?

    Thanks

      -Forum Traffic

Holy crap I love forum traffic.

And then, 5 minutes later, the moderator will erase the sig, or nuke the post, and probably even ban the account, lol. They aren't dumb. They know exactly what's going on, and most of them don't tolerate it, especially outside the IM niche. If you start the promos right out of the gate, you're going to fail before you even get started.

Did you miss the part where I said dont spam and contribute to the forum?

I am not talking put a giant neon CLICK ME sign in your site.

A small signature with a eye catching picture and great headline has always worked me wonder.

And no I dont just create 5 posts on a forum and bring out the promotion train. I rarely even promote. I just bring enough value in posts so that people want to see who I am and what the hell my signature link is about.

Getting in a flame war or doing a Ask me anything thread, also works great

      1) Why are you worried about google slapping you? Is it because you know that some of your SEO / backlinking methods are borderline gray?

I've always thought that building a useful authority site and allowing other people to link to you (because they love your content) , will never get you in trouble. This is what I consider an authority site, am I wrong?

      2) I know the recurring business model perfectly as I used to run one and made thousands. But how about if you're in a niche that doesn't fit well with this?

      Thanks
      1) No not at all. Some of the WORST, and I mean TERRIBLE SEO is on my first 2 authority sites

Like I broke every rules known to man, was on build my rank and blog blueprint

The sites NEVER got hit even after all that.

      2) Then I don't target the niche =P. Remember I am able to rank for whatever I want (long term). Because of this I choose niches where I can make memberships (or have affiliate membership programs)

I am a reoccurring junky. Theres no point in making money off of someone once

Thanks for the honest reply concerning point #1.

Your point #2, about not making sites to just profit one time, is definitely something that I agree with as well.

I have a question about email lists. I've created huge email lists in the past (on my biggest site), but I never did anything with them, because I was making enough money with the recurring billing. My question is this:

From what I've researched, wouldn't you say that people consider an email list another form of making money in a reoccurring fashion? In other words, constantly sending them email content, for the purpose of them buying something?

An email list isn't considered recurring income, but having one will SIGNIFICANTLY boost the value of your site/brand should you decide to "cash out".

p.s. Nice post Becker, very similar to the strategy my mastermind group uses. If you don't mind i'd like to add:

          WARNING: Wall of Text

Google Authorship: When you set up your account actually keep it updated and join circles. It looks a little "off" for a person to be highly respected in their field and have an insanely popular blog but not have any "real" followers. And yes Google does pay attention to this. If you see an Authorship listing in the SERPS you'll notice that the number of followers a person has is listed as well. The stronger your profile the more "weight" your content will receive.

Obscure/Mondane niches: I know that Becker does not target these, but if you pull it off right these can turn into PURE GOLD mines. The trick isn't necessarily to find a niche with a fan base, but to find a niche and CREATE a fan base. Get creative with your writing and create content that people would want to return to and read. These niches really require you to laser target your ideal reader and their interests which means that you need to research and KNOW YOUR MARKET. Worse case scenario is that you just end up with a "failed" project that still gets a ton of traffic. You can then just toss up Adsense or a CPA and flip it.

Site Structure: If you're going to dig in and go "all the way" then it would pay to setup your site the right way from the beginning. It will be well worth your time to do some research on the Silo Site Structure for SEO purposes. Too much detail to go into here, but between a quick WF and Google search you'll find what you need.

The early bird: Don't wait until the "perfect" time to start collecting opt ins, as the perfect time will never come. If you're getting any decent amount of traffic you need to be collecting emails. This was probably the biggest "mistake" with my first authority site. By the time I finally got around to my email list and began to understand just how profitable it was I had already missed out on THOUSANDS of subscribers.

Ok im going to try the Becker way to rank my money site and keywords by getting some high pr expired domains. As they say the Devil is in the details and I have a few questions for you Becker and those warriors that do this method.
              1. When looking for domains how many backlinks is a good amount to look for.
              2. What about the Majestic Citation and Trust Flow: the higher the better?
              3. When I do get a few domains how much content should I put on the new domains? The content should be related to my niche right, but not too related? Why not just put my money keywords on the new site?
              4. Should I try to stay away from domain names that have nothing to do with my niche or this is not such a big deal? What about putting content related to the domain name on the site and slipping a link in there on the homepage to my money site?
              5. Should I register the new domain with the private registration option? Why or why not.

Thanks I’m looking for help from Becker and the warriors that do this method.

As far as the latest Google updates are concerned it would be pure speculation to say that social profiles were being looked at. But in my opinion it would make sense for this type of thing to be factored into an algorithm that looks for micro niche sites. Most of the social media profiles associated with them tend to be very "weak". But of course, not all micro niche sites even have social profiles, so once again that's just speculation.

When it comes to big authority blogs though I tend to take more of a risk management approach which includes giving some love to the social profile. I mean you've already created it, so why not? Sending friend invites to random people and reposting/bookmarking your content on your profile should be enough.

p.s. Do not hesitate to ask your visitors to friend you, make em feel all warm n fuzzy inside lol

Becker - firstly I just want to say thanks for all of the useful information. Really, fantastic stuff.

I just want to make one point about flipping small nice sites. After thinking about this (am a relative newb, couple of months experience), I think it's not 'right' to sell these in many cases. If your backlink profile is risky and the site tanks, you've effectively sold duds (not you as in Becker, just in general) while promising a 'passive income niche site'. Now that I am a bit more experienced I realise that tiny niche sites can only really work by being a small part of an overall online strategy. Low comp, rank them quickly, make some money out of them for a few months, then they die. OR, as you say, flip them. However, I now know that 15-20x for a niche site almost equates to robbery. We know that a given niche site will eventually get killed by Google, especially these days. There is NO WAY that the site will outlast a couple of Google updates. Unless the site is sold as a growing authority site, as a buyer you've basically bought a dud. Look at the income reports from niche site builders such as Adsense Flippers and Mike from Maine. Most of their niche income is from selling sites (EMD sites) and affiliate stuff. I bet that most of those niche sites are now DEAD as far as Google is concerned, most of them having been sold in the past year or less. While I have a lot of respect for both of these sites and applaud these guys for giving free info, I just would not advise anyone to buy a niche site. For that reason I don't know if I could sell them without feeling intense guilt, even though the market sets the prices.

Therefore, for me, authority is the way to go. Your ideas will definitely help me. :-)

    Hi,

Thanks Becker13 for this detailed seo info report and free wso to find untapped keywords,we all need such information.

Do you have prove facts, that google shutdown emd sites???

But,you not say what is an authority site in your eyes ; is that a website with 10 pages,20 pages or more???

And for every post you make you buy fiverr gigs? (expensive when you write every day)
And then spend 1-2000$ for seo too ????

Sorry, for an marketer who build mini niche sites, would never spend this money. With such a mini niche site you can make 100$,300$ or more every month with affiliate products and without build a list, any business man would not spend 1-2000$ into such a mini niche site, who makes 100-300$ every month.

And then you wrote that every marketer has to invest, but I know when I write guest posts, forum marketing posts and PR articles on my own,I spend my time and energy but no money and have free target traffic, ok PR traffic will not buy, they are always for to get backlinks, but guest post and forum marketing traffic is in buyer mode or for opt in to build a list.

Why spend massiv time or invest on stumble upon, this is high bounced raffic that will never convert why spend time and money on this?

Mini niche sites are often easy to rank with little little money to invest on good recommend 2-3 fiverr gigs (link pyramid and so on)-you get high ranking power with this,or build a 10-20 web2.0 site linkwheeltoyour money site too.

And make money with cb products or whatever, get perhaps 500 visitors every month, with a 5% conversion rate (when you have good written pre sell content) with 30$ comission per sale, you will make; 25 sales x30$= 750$ every month with 1 such mini niche site.

And then scale it up= build more of them 10 -20 or so. After max.2 years look for new cb products and build new such niche sites, then after 2 years your first products are to old, you must build new sites.

With this all you can hire a writer for your good conversion pre sell page and buy some little fiverr gigs and the rest you write on your own to get free target forum traffic and traffic from guest posting.

And write your own PR and you will get syndicate high strong backlinks too, that all will you not cost money and will work.

With this method you not must spend 300$ or 2000$. Ok for competitive niches yes, you must spend this, but not for easy to rank mini niches.

Calculate when I will build an authority website with 50 pages and I must spend 2-3 fiverr gigs and a pr writer for every page (50 pages) this will cost more than 500$,far more, that is not rentable to make 100$,200$,300$ in month with this. It would be rentable in my eyes when such a site makes min. 1000$ or more every month, yes then I would spend this money.

Or you build your authorithy website on longtail keywords when you write every day 1 post ,so your site grows up to 30 pages every month, you can use 2-3 fiverr gigs one time for domain backlinks and then for every page you wrote each day, you can use 10-20 sb bookmarks manually or with onlywire for little money and so on, write in forums and make quest posts too, this will work again, without spend thousand of dollars (in a easy-medium competitive niche).

On heavy competitive niches, yes you must spend money for an professional seo agent, otherwise you will have no chance to rank, but not in little business niches.

Or make yt marketing to get subscribers, this target traffic is free too.

But when you not will spend money, you must invest your own time and energy in it.
So at the end you always must pay the price; spend money little or huge, or spend time and ernergy to learn and doing yourself.
So there everybody has the chance to make money on the online business, the sky is the limit of your income.

    best wishes

lol those numbers are WAAYYYYYYYYY above what a "typical" micro niche site would make. And on top of that your numbers are a bit off. You have to factor in the click through rate from the pre-sell to the actual sales page and THEN the conversion rate. If you use your 5% number for both, your $750 becomes $37 per month.

When you buy your mini sites and create content about your keyword does it have anything to do with the url you buy and does it matter ?

would you still buy them ?

    Hi

Ops! dennis09 yes, that was an incorrect calculate from me I have frogot the ctr first and then the conversion rate from the ctr traffic who goes to the merchant sales page, sorry for that.
Ok when you build a list, the conversion rate could be higher (nobody talks about that-but anybody talks about conversion rate without list building).

But when such a micro mini site makes 35-70$ in month, nobody would spend 300$ or 2000$ in seo for such a site, you can do that for little little money or by yourself.

So you can build 10 such sites to comes near the goal to make 500-1000$ in month.
And then you must build your site so that you get an high ctr which is not a problem by mni sites, all mini sites structures (the most) have high ctr, they have no other outgoing link and such things, the user does not have to many choices and then you will get an high ctr.

Alex pretty much gave us a blueprint to 6 figures/year authority site creation. Anyone can build these sites, it's a science as Alex lays out in the thread.

However, the real skills like site/content creation & marketing and the monetization side... copywriting, sales funnel creation, follow-ups - those skills are the difference between SEO's who earn 5 figures and SEO's who own 6 or 7+. Bad ass stuff Alex.

A HUGE thanks for a fantastic post Becker, it fits your EXTREMELY valuable and informative category perfectly

I for one will make sure to put your advice on creating, growing and ranking an authority site (working on my first one at the time of writing) to good use, as I don't really see the point in working with a marketing method that Google actively and relentlessly does what it can to kill, where the same time, effort and energy can be spent on a much more reliable and steady long-term strategy, but that's just me

A couple of questions if you don't mind:

    1. You say that various social profiles should be created and connected through Google+ before connecting that to a Google Authorship profile. I assume these profiles should, where it's possible, made as business profiles/pages for that authority site? If so, wouldn't that start raising Google's flags, seeing as the same author is creating several authority sites that have similar growth and ranking patterns?

    2. What's your take on using PPC to drive even more traffic to these site in addition to the strategy you've laid out here, if nothing else in the beginning to get the ball rolling?

Again, huge amounts of thanks, thread bookmarked and subscribes

Thanks for usefull post, however i would advice all you guys to go more into automation or outscoring. For example such a site: fb.com/seodeals - it's so cheap that i couldn't not buy links from it!

Just wanted to add my opinion when it comes to juicing social profiles. Out of all the sites I've lost to Google updates, the only ones that have kept their rankings are the ones where I've maintained a proper social presence and juiced the profiles (FB/Twitter/G+) with artificial links/likes/followers. Speculation?

Same here. I admit that not all of my sites have strong social profiles, but the ones that do kept their rankings and some of them even increased. I chose to use the word "speculation" because i'm still in the process of testing this out on a larger scale. But yeah, so far the results are pretty compelling.

    Great thread and post.....thanks Alex......

The issue for me at the moment is whether to refocus again on SEO as a strategy......I got hit like many for being part of a public network.......think the way foward could be developing your own private network of high pr/ web 2.0 and keeping it to yourself......looking at first at web 2.0, purely for cost reasons......any thoughts on that?

The key issue is how to 'future proof' your work.......no point setting things up for Google to knock them back-down too easily

ps. thanks too for the report/ wso.....good stuff

Becker... I commend you for taking the time to lay out step by step everything you have done, well done. But as you know most people will read, say "thanks" and move along without applying what they have just read.

For this reason, most of us don't bother...

    Great sharing.

I believe that most people understand that seo is not a push button thing. It takes some time and effort for seo to take place.

The beauty of it is that once your site gets ranked on google, it brings your site lots of online exposure.

I strongly agree with that fact that if you do not have the luxury of time, it is important for you to set an amount aside for outsourcing.

I don't understand why someone would want to make another company rich, one site made 4.60, and Amazon made 98.00. I rather make my own products/service and keep all the money, not being greedy, just smart thinking in my book.

Hi Becker ~ I had signed up to be an affilate for Plug In Profit Site. I was trying to build some google adwords. They suspended the account and the domain! Locked up my adwords account where I can't use my credit for my other businesses! I deleted the domain as well and it comes up SUSPENDED!

Becker you are a freakin' rock star! Thank you for taking a large amount of time to expose extremely valuable for free . If it counts for anything you did get another reader of your blog out of this post! (me)

Had a couple questions about your private network of PR2's/3's that you create. Should I buy only .com domains?
It seems like you can find .net/.info PR4's pretty easily on there. Also what role does the domain name play in the effectiveness of the link?
If I were to buy a HUGELY long sentence of a domain name at PR4 would it still be effective?
Does the domain name have to be directly tied to you niche?
Let's say i'm in the education niche and i buy some like like asdfdesign.com will it be okay to just put education relevant content on the site?

Lastly, and probably most important, I've done some backlink profile check on these PR3's and PR4's and they usually don't have any backlinks but they are real, and aged. Are they still effective?

Do you have any tips/resources/examples of developing a product to sell?

I'm having hard time figuring out what type of content would actually be worth selling.

For example - I am an avid golfer - I know a lot about golf, yet I can not think of anything in that niche that I could develop a product for - that isn't widely available on the internet already. Do I just need to think more outside of the box? Or, is it more about branding myself, and developing interesting enough content that people would be willing to pay for some of it?

Ah, most def... Didn't mean for free..

I meant to say I just have a basic niche adsense site I was playing around with.. Leaning this whole SEO things and didn't know how aggressive I should plan to be with the various traffic sources and link building after reading your article The Omega SEO Link Strategy Guide.

Judging from the niche sites you build (not the authority sites you mention), the plan you use to get the traffic doesn't have to be as intense.

Well, after investing $300 per month on your sites, you make $200/$300 per day! Is it $300 investment per site or for all sites? The amount of work involved is crazy!!

Honestly I have no problem with working as long as I am using my time the right way.

My SEO income makes up about 1/3rd of my current income (I run online businesses and have an agency) So I def have my hands full.

I want to be a millionaire by the time im 26-27, and I plan on working like crazy till I get there

No passive lazy income for me =)

Still somewhat sceptical about many of the methods and some seem already outdated (without further explanation to the noob - i.e exact match domains) but Becker does get out there and lays it all out on video. The whole Source-Wave thing is a great lesson in branding to the newbies. Good Job. You can forget the guitar, though!

Edit: to be fair to Becker I think he did give his latest account re: EMDs somewhere around here.

Sounds like a lot of work only for google to change the rules... Ive wasted wayyy to much time trying to follow cut and paste strategies like this. Now I do my own thing and see wayyyyy better results with way less links.

    Hey Becker

Awesome post bro but I'm curious, what kind of automation tools do you use?

I'm familiar with many, though most seo people tell me they're horrible and then give me a vague " do natural links!" Lol.

I am a big fan if fiver but what's the guns you use?
