I heard it a lot and I wanna have your opinion about it. Do small Google Ad-words budgets help a lot to leverage your website on Google?

I never used ad-words for my SEO services but do u think it is a must for even organic search too?

Google adword has no relation with the organic ranking, both are entirely different. If its possible then maximum companies using adwords rather than using SEO services.

No. Google has said so directly multiple times.

    1) There's no reason for Google to lie about this. They're telling you to *not* spend money with them to improve your organic rankings.

    2) If Google took money to manipulate search rankings, all the FTC and DOJ regulators watching them for anticompetitive behavior would swoop down and take them to court over it immediately.

If anyone feels a desire to say otherwise, you better bring some compelling evidence.

    Hi Seoptimistic,

    Yes, and yes.

But, probably not in the way you might be thinking.

It is true that there is no direct link between purchasing AdWords advertisements and the organic search ranking algorithm, however that does not mean that there are no indirect benefits, because there are potentially huge indirect benefits.

How a PPC advertising program benefits SEO campaigns:
    1. Any advertising that sends targeted traffic to your website has the potential to generate natural backlinks. People need to see your web pages before they will naturally link to them, PPC traffic is an excellent way to get the right people to look at your website.
    2. PPC platforms provide the best solution for testing keywords, page titles, meta descriptions, and landing pages for your SEO campaigns. The ability to quickly test thousands of keywords, page titles, and landing page variations can be a tremendous benefit to your SEO campaigns.

You should never even think about targeting a competitive niche without the aide of a PPC campaign to generate that initial traffic needed for testing and optimizing your SEO campaigns, it would be a colossal waste of time and money to leave that out.

Don hit it right on. PPC has absolutely no affect on the algorithm that dictates organic rankings. But, if you aren't using PPC to test pages, headlines, etc you are missing out.

Also, I've seen so many say that they spent all of this time and/or money working on SEO to find out that they ranked high for a keyword and it doesn't convert like they thought it would. So, now they are wasting bandwidth (money) on their server. So, use PPC to find the keywords that convert for you. Test ads to find the right ones to then use as meta tags on your site. Then, don't stop running PPC if it's profitable. Just SEO the site for those profitable keywords and make even more money/market-share.

Not only that, if you know how to effectively use PPC you will be able to get into places that SEO can be extremely difficult to get into. If you know PPC you can seemingly make money at will. I've been doing it for 9 years now. Best thing I ever learned.
