So, where are the FB haters?

Many threads a few days ago about google making a profit
of "only" $2 billion. I had pointed out, that the quarter before,
that was more than $2 billion more than FB.

So now, current Q3 results are out, and, gasp, FB loses
$59 million overall. That's two straight quarters.

Why are there not 50 threads instantly on the WF about
how lousy a company FB is, how everyone is ditching them,
and how they will not survive? Yada yada yada....

    I think the answer is that some of the people you see posting threads about Google's poor results (only $2 Billion profit LOL) are the same people who have had their sites penalised by Google for unnatural links and/or junk content which they insist is quality content.

    As for yet another lousy quarter for Fbook well that's hardly surprising, nothing changes lol. Maybe that has conneection to their share price which has so far dropped circa 50% since they launched. :rolleyes: People on this forum couldn't care less about Facebook's lousy results as they have little impact on many poster's lives IMO.

    Facebook is the next myspace. I said this over a year ago. Social media is a tool but you can't put too much value into it. To me facebook is a big waste of time.

    Because Facebook never ranked anyone for anything and then took it back.

    ...exactly where all the Google trolls are not!

    FB fan page still send me 600-800 UV whenever i post my stuff there. (Oh, yeah! I control my visitors, not a nerd with double chin somewhere in a G data center) Pretty sleek eh, specially when the fans are targeted (and girls) who are shopping savvy. CONVERTS!
