Is it necessary to post daily on your personal blog. If I make good onpage and offpage seo of my blog, making quality backlinks but not making posting to my blog regularly, then what will happend. Is my blog will not ranked?

    Some might believe that you could be looking at it the wrong way.

    IT could be said that the only thing that matters in your list is number 1.

    Define "blog";
    A Web site on which an individual or group of users record opinions, information, etc. on a regular basis.

    If you make "your" blog seem like an effort and that you are just doing it for money, then it will most likely just fade away as a lesson learned.
    If you want to blog, then turn it into a passion that you want to talk and write about. Not just another task that you have to do...
    Forget the numbers, forget the SEO, as that will come naturally through your conversations and ideas, and concentrate on your enthusiasm of your subject by getting involved and networking. Do that and you can put all of those other concerns away...

    Maybe it is NOT required posting daily, but updating it frequently (at least 2-3 times per week is recommended)

        I second this. however, i havent posted on my baby shower site in over two months and nothing has changed. I still get over 300 ppl a day.

        but this is after two years of the advice above.

    You can't call it a blog when you will not post regularly However, most of the cases your site will not ranked will and also it depends on the quality of the content you are posting as well as the link building.

    My advice is make sure to update your BLOG regularly, do onpage properly and then link building.

      why are so angry, its my right to make effort and do it better and better. its right that english is not my first language and I am a newbie in this field and I havnt taken training of it due to lack of money, all I make it with internet teutorials and now I am learning at WF. All above posts except your is guiding. If you cannot give me a positive response then kindly not discourage me. Thanks

    Post frequency depends mostly upon the niche. If you are in a niche like technology you are going to get many news to be posted at your blog daily and in other niches it may not matter much to post daily.

    However posting regularly good amount of content will definitely gives a boost to your ranking as you will get most of long tail traffic due to Google love and get some advantage of frequent crawling which can index even the blog comments in an hours.
