Need an SEO expert

So based on advice received, I think I should probably hire someone. But, there are thousands of SEO "experts" out there but in my experience, they are far and few.

Does anyone have someone that they recommend that is a true expert that can get my site ranked #1 on google?

      I would instantly fire any SEO that posted my money sites in public, especially around an IM forum.

      If an SEO makes all your sites personal data available & how they ranked your sites, competition can easily duplicate & take your SERP position.

      I agree there's a lot of idiots selling SEO services but there's still legit services to get pages ranked, you have to do your own research on the SEO provider. My advice is always start a new SEO provider with a very small job on a new domain that's not a money site, then If the SEO does good with the test domain (links, etc...) point the test domain at the real money site. It's a lot cheaper/safer to have the SEO build up a test site than to have to hire another SEO to fix the mess (If the SEO creates a mess with external links).

    Hey man,

    It all depends on your risk tolerance. I get big results for myself, but i wouldnt try the things i do with clients because i slightly push the envelope.

    Not sure where i would start, depends what your goals are really and how important the sites are, budget, risk tolerance (as i said) etc.

    I'd be VERY careful about who you hire.

    When in doubt pay more than you think you have to.

    I'd also at least learn the very basics of SEO, so that when your provider send you a backlink report, you know whether or not they're doing quality work.

      Backlink reports are for backlink sellers. SEO experts report on rankings.

    you should try any SO person and should have a proper discussion on your domain like what strategy you will follow for my domain. Ask few tricky questions and if you are satisfied ,you can start your project.

    An "expert" would create sample sites to show clients they can, in fact, rank websites for competitive keywords. Also an "expert" should offer a free consultation and give a few recommendations about your website in regards to some onpage SEO pointers and a plan of action. He should also be able to discuss what keywords to target to start off with.

    everyone will shout and shout that they're the best out there in market! but my experience is, interview them first and then you will get to ask them each and every question related to their work and portfolio. Make a contract with them including some points that if they're not been able to rank your websites within time then all the money should be transfer back or maybe you ask him to pay you more

    In the SEO no one can give you guarantee of #1 ranking on Google, Everyone can expect only about such result by following Google's guidelines and putting effort. Because does not work under any SEO or SEM. If anyone committing this for #1 ranking, you should understand he is making you fool only.

    From the requirements you are posting on here, I would have a look through the market and see if there are any SEO Specialists who have ranked websites well for your line of business, being cleaning; competitive to say the very least!
