What is in a good Local SEO package

Hi All,

I am looking at putting together a local SEO package for small businesses who have nothing or not much at all, they don't even really need a website to do this, but I would like some advice on what people think should go into this package.

This is what I am thinking:

Setup Google Places (Google+ Local), Apple Maps, Nokia Maps
List business with Bing Local, Yahoo! Local, Foursquare, Yelp, Local.com and other relevant local directories such as tripadvisor.com if you are a restaurant/hotel.
Set up Facebook, Google+, Twitter profiles
1 or 2 articles about the business posted on to a blog network.

Any other must haves?

    Nice Plan but it would be great if you add few more services like On page Optimization, Social Media Branding, Local Classified Ad etc..

    Local SEO package is really a cheap and best package for all small businesses and you can get good results too. You get high quality targeted leads to your business from local searches.

    Looks pretty good as it is.

    I know a few small businesses (restaurants, local services etc) who have found Facebook and Twitter VERY important in their getting new faces. It is fantastic for local businesses - as long as you keep up the chat (perhaps this could be an upsell with a monthly subscription?)

    Don't forget to make the maps interactive so that people can find them with their smartphones (I guess you've got this sussed?)

      That seems good enough to start. I would also offer a keyword research and a good About Us company/business description based on those keywords.
      Another idea - see what your competitors are doing. For example, they give you 3 names of their main competitors and you make a quick report on how they are promoting their business, which in a way helps both of you.
