Hi,

No matter how much content my site has... it seems that google decided to send me the same number of visitors every day.

That does not make sense to me. If I have more content there is more change for someone to find something useful on my site. It happens but it seems that google limits somehow the number of visitors.

Does this makes any sense?

If those new pages are ranking on page #11 (or whatever) for the keyword, your not going to get any extra traffic.

Are your new pages ranking at the top of the SERPs for any new keywords that have traffic?

what makes me wonder is: I get google visitors for new content... but in the end of the day the total number of visitors is more or less the same. It seems that google decided to send me x visitors per day no matter what content I have.

You need to start link building to get pages ranking high and keep them high. If you have many page ranking high for high volumes of traffic then you will get more visitors.

  • Hey there OkyNet,

Though you may have more content it does not mean your content is getting ranked well on the SERP's for any specific keyword. Content is great but if your pages are not optimized correctly for your keywords and your off page SEO is lacking then you won't notice much of a change. Google does not decide to just give you a number of visitors a day because that's there will.... What is happening is your new content is not ranked well or is not even indexed at all.....

Also content in the SERP's drop once it is no longer as active.
