the affect of a websites age

hi guys,
still working my way aroung the SEO world and would love to get your expert advice.

let say i have 2 pages that are exactly the same in every parameter (for sake of discussion, imagine there is no duplicate content. both have original content, same obl, same niche, etc..)

the only difference is that one website is 1 month old and the other is 10 years old.

what are the benefits of having a link on the "old" site Vs. the "new" site?

is there a difference in the amount of juice i will be getting from them?

    Links from a 10 years old website is of much of value,
    since its an old citizen of internet.

    When such sites point link to other site then even they are given somewhat respect & value, are considered trusted.

    The answer will depend on MANY factors:

    1) What is the link profile of each site, aka, the incoming links?

    2) For e.g. if the new site has a lot of links and better links than the old one, no doubt it will outcompete the old one.

    3) A dead old site (with no new content) is just that = DEAD.

    4) One link on an old site with a huge diverse incoming link profile will definitely outperform a new site.

    5) One link on a new site with a huge diverse incoming link profile will definitely outperform an old site.

    Are you getting the point? It all depends on how the SE's are trusting them. It does not matter if it's new or old, all it matters is their own link profile and trust...

    as i said, let's say they are both active, have the same huge diverse incoming link profile, same page rank, etc.

    i know it not a very common scenario, but play along pls.

    Get backlinks for old domain is better than that from one new domain, old domain is easy to get trustment from SE, of course, the quality of content is also important in recent SE update.
