I have shifted this query to main internet marketing forum, as I think it is more related to it.

      What is the question?

      If the question is:
"Does Posting Links on Facebook Help?"

      The answer is not really.
It doesn't help SEO as Facebook links are no-follow.

HOWEVER, it does improve your social media activeness. Which is an up and coming thing. Just post a link once a week or every two weeks and you'll count as active on social media.
This helps towards about 5% of you total SEO. (Made up figure, but it's pretty low).

FB links are not even nofollow. They are nonexistent. Unless they
changed their scripts. I'm talking about links in posts.

Here's the way I use FB for targeted traffic. Find 4-5 groups
that have lots of active members and allow anyone to post
with links. Post a new link one of them one day, move to the
second one the next day, etc. Then start over. The problem
is weeding out the groups that get spammed a zillion times a day.
Look at the number of posts after yours. If it's 100 in a couple of
days, look for another group. Look for something less than 20.
Or, you could be more active on it but it's probably a lost cause.
What you are looking for, is casual readers who won't join the
group, but are there for "tips and info."

I have yet to find more than 5 groups for each niche that fit
        my parameters.
