Do You Have a List? Post it Here!

Ok I hope this is Kosher to do here. Was reading another thread about lists and got me thinking... I am on some really good lists of people here in the WF. Each of those was something that I sought out because I thought the person had interesting ideas and I wanted to follow along...

I'd love to know who else has a list here? What do you use it for?

BTW I recommend these Warriors' lists to start:

Mike Friedman
Backlinko
MakeMoneyNinja

(don't be mad guys, free press! )

I'm not really on many lists but I know that the following people know what they are talking about:

    RedShifted
    Mike Anthony
    Mike Friedman
    Backlinko
    Matthew Woodward
    JSP Projects
    Wolfmiii
    Nik0
    dp40z
    Yukon
    Paulgl

I'm sure there are others but these people are the ones I would listen to. Most other people don't tend to talk from experience.

Thanks so much for including me on the list.

I didn't know Mike Anthony had a list. Gotta get on that one...he knows his stuff.

    Cheers man!

Lol those are the people I would recommend people to listen to. I didn't mean that I was on their list.

I had to mention you because to me you seem like you know what you are doing. I believe building a branded site is the way forward even though it will take more investment in the beginning but this would mean a lot of the 'make $1232983023 in 2 days' people will jump ship.

People need to remind themselves that this is a business so treat it like one. You wouldn't open up a restaurant and serve sh*t food and expect to make $10,000 in the first month. There's no reason for you to think that you can make a site with crap content and expect to become a millionaire.

You're definitely spot on about treating our Internet business as a REAL business. That was the single tip which made me put in much more effort into my website and I started making money after that!

Following people is a great idea. In fact, I can't say I've
ever heard that discussed here before. Kudos on a useful
and unique topic. Why following people is important?
Because so much garbage buries the good stuff. If you
just surf in, surf out, you are bombarded with nonsense.

If you don't want to follow people, then have a short list
of people to check on daily, weekly, or whenever you fly
in. Just do a search for their posts. Works for me!

I know I would miss whole lot of stuff from Mike
Anthony. He seems to not come here as often, so
a little digging is sometimes needed.

I used to follow one person. bgmacaw. I don't know
what happened to her. I think I used to follow Kay King,
Alexa Smith, Caliban, askloz. It was hard to keep up.

Some of their stuff is golden.

I'll tell you what. I guarantee I have made thousands of dollars
          based on info here.

That's why following or searching is so important. The good stuff
is buried by 99% (or more) of just junk.

I like to see what nik0 is up to these days, but he'd hate
          hearing that.

Just a thought. Don't believe everything any one person, including
me, says. We all have stuff that works. We all have good ideas.
But in our 20 things that are good, you might be able to only
use (and prove) 2 or 3. If you follow someone to the letter, it
might not work out perfectly for you. You just can't implement
everything the same way that someone says, and expect the
same results. Every webpage is different.

I've never really gotten much info from a list here at the warrior forum.

I would suggest checking out lots of forums online, and piecing stuff together. But when I come out with a list in a year or so everyone should join.

Then you're on the wrong thread cowboy

Kidding! So you've joined lists but not found anything of value or you just haven't joined any lists?

I have one coming up with a blog whose name you all are just going to love (and will probably burst a few blood vessels among the haters)

I'm stalking you Paul, just so you know hehehe

I think a lot of folks do it but don't talk about it ever. If anyone isn't doing it they are either the smartest, most informed IMer on the planet or they are missing out on learning opportunities. I follow Paul for his traffic/facebook insights for example, really good stuff. Yukon is absolutely brilliant, not just with adsense, I follow everything he writes about. Mike Friedman is the king of Local SEO, the man! Mike Anthony ... the "quan" of PBNs. I watch nik0 because he's always testing something, doing 7 things at once to see what works. Backlinko and MakeMoneyNinja are the crazy idea guys, they'll take something, turn it upside down and pull links out of thin air. I started following JSProjects for scrapebox tips but there is lots to learn there too. I follow the tech discussions that the guys have... Dennis, Lanx, PaulBaker... smart guys. RedShifted gets me thinking with the offline stuff, and youtube

Ok I'll stop but for the newbs... those are some people to follow!

    Mike Anthony
    Mike Friedman
    JS Projects
    Nest28
UMS (I don't know where he went)

That's it for me. Been scrolling this forum for years and till this day those are the ones that I learn from the most.

Banned? There is no such power that can stop CTR. Warock cannot be banned. She/he just morphs usernames and ponies up the USD $10. Why isn't she on the list of the followed. I am waiting to read her autobiography - "Memoirs of Spamming on the Mississipi : The Way We Were".
