Hi guys

I work for large online retailer doing PPC in Canada.

The conversion rate is absolutely horrible for most of my campaigns as compared to US.

what should I be looking out for in Canada to increase conversion rate? ad copies? narrower keywords? wider keywords? some times i would be spending hundreds of dollars with no conversions.

please help with advise!! :confused::confused::confused:

    Is your product something that Canadians buy? For example, U.S. donut franchises do poorly in Canada because we are patriotic to Tim Hortens donuts. Despite the large number of similarities between the U.S. and Canada there are also some huge differences, like when travelling everyone thinks we are American...Canadians find that offensive.

      1)Do not use broad keywords
      2)Use phrase and exact match keywords
      3)Make your ad groups into tighter group of relevant keywords
      4)Write ads that are totally relevant to your keywords. Have a benefit and a good call to action with a nice hook in each ad (eg. free shipping, 10% off etc)
      5)Ensure your landing page is closely relevant to the keywords in ad groups triggering the ad.
      Once all these are in sync with each other, you should see better results.
