Transferring content from one Wordpress to another without losing SEO?

Hi,

I have been debating about moving all of the posts from one of my Wordpress sites to another. (Without losing SEO, link juice or getting some sort of Google penalty)

I was wondering if anyone knew the general steps for this?

From what I have gathered it is something like:
1) 301 redirects on the old wordpress
2) export old wordpress
3) import into new wordpress
4) anything else?

I just want to do this the safest or best way possible.

EDIT:

I probably should of said this as well:

- I have two domains
- They both are on the same host (Hostgator)
- They both have working WordPress installations

I just want to move the existing posts on one, to the other without damaging anything.
