    Nothing worse than Manboob-links!

You can always try blocking their site as a referer in .htaccess. That will throw off a 'Forbidden' page when a visitor (or bot) clicks through from their site to yours.

There is some controversy about how effective this is, but at least it's a way of denying their link.

    Code:
    RewriteEngine on
    # Options +FollowSymlinks
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} otherdomain.com [NC]
    RewriteRule .* - [F]

If you're worried about Google penalising you for those links you can 'disavow' them in your Google webmaster account.

  • Morch,

As Andy suggests you can disavow these links however you must do a lot more work than just submitting the disavow links request. If the request alone is submitted, Google will likely ignore it. You must provide ample evidence that you are doing everything in your power to get the links removed. This includes evidence that you have contacted the webmaster of manboob and tried to get the links taken down and any evidence that you have in relation to why they are targeting you.

    Best,

    Shawn

 Like you're really going to get in touch with a guy running a scraper and politely ask him to stop scraping your content.

I guess the only way to stop this is to not include internal links in our content?

Disallow option in Google webmaster will help you block the links that are of low quality and for this first of all login in to the webmaster tools and list out all the websites that are of low quality and submit the same in the disallow option.
