ABC 3000 - spammy links?

I have been using this product since it's release a couple of years ago. I was looking at my external links on Webmaster Tools and I have such bizzare sites linking to me. My site that I was looking at is on gardening, but I have purse sites, etc. linking to me. Some of them are sending hundreds of links to my home page.
What I am wondering is if anyone thinks this product, ABC3000, is worth the $67 per month. I only do IM part time and link building is what I hate! I would much rather write content and go on my merry way
