Getting authority links but rankings aren't budging

So I've been targeting some really low comp keywords with a high PR blog network I've built.

But my rankings aren't budging. These are PR3-5 links for a super low comp keyword. All my links are indexed and it has been weeks but my rankings aren't moving at all.

Has this ever happened to anyone?

It seems a bit ridiculous since the keyword is so low comp and my site has gotten so many high PR authority links.

    What are you using to judge the comp?

    This isn't 2010 anymore, SEO has completely changed.

    There are factors influence your rankings that most do not comprehend.

    Even sending a million of those links won't help.

      Really? Ummm... I get rankings daily high PR sites I control.

      Back to original post...

      Could be a lot of things. Might be over-optimized page. Might be under-optimized page. Might be over-optimized anchor text. Might be under-optimized anchor text.

      There are so many potential problems, it's hard to say without seeing the site, the keywords your gunning for and your blog network to evaluate if it has any strength to rank. Every site in a blog network IS NOT created equally.

    It could be 2 things;

    The domains in your blog network aren't strong
    Your site is penalized
