Nah, I just had Adsense links and a dedicated page with eBay links, that's it.
Those articles are quite helpful I think... some people spend around 15minutes reading them.

Should I just 301 redirect? I've spent a lot of time on that damn site...

I think you may want to try to remove all the links from your site(including adsense banners), and try to go for reconsideration. Not sure if that will help but worth a try.

My guess is google is trolling you.

Back up a second. What makes you think you have been penalized for thin content? You got a message from Google stating that?

Yup, got a message in Webmaster Tools... At first I didn't know I had been a "victim" of a penalty because I had not added that site to the Tools but, after searching for days for a cause for that sudden drop in all my rankings, I thought that maybe that was it.

And it was.

-50 penalty for all my positions.

I've already submitted it back for reconsideration twice... but it gets rejected all the time. Always for "thin content" supposedly.

I have never seen them send out a message referring to "thin content". Like Ice asked, can you post the message here. Thanks.

Are you scraping content from ecommerce sites (Ebay, Amazon, whatever)? If so, that's probably the problem.

By the way, no my content was not scraped from other sites. It was 100% pure unique content.

Did you recently buy the domain?

Have you checked the domain in wayback to see If it was a spammy site, before you bought the domain?

Have you checked the backlinks to see If the links are junk links built by the previous domain owner?

Thanks for the help Yukon... I wished it was that simple.
No, I built this site from A to Z and I only used high PR links, so it shouldn't have to do with my backlinks.

Hmm, really dunno what I can do but keep adding content and submitting it back until they either lift the penalty or ban the site because they'll be fed up with me
