They don't like unwanted emails with links, nor do they want
"many" visitors via email. I myself do email marketing, and
send people to a page without adsense.

I send my Feedburner email list back to my site/s whenever I feel like it. There's no limit on Feedburner/email traffic, heck they had to opt-in to the email list so they're obviously interested in your website.

I bump old evergreen blog post to automatically send out Feedburner emails about 1-2 times a week, whenever I want to bump up traffic. You can't blast emails everyday or you'll piss off traffic & they'll unsubscribe from your email list.

We understand that publishers are always looking for new ways to boost traffic to their websites. However, it is a violation of our program policies to promote websites that are displaying Google ads through unsolicited emails. Please also note that publishers are not permitted to place AdSense ads in emails.

You may wish to learn more on permitted ways to increase traffic to your website.

That does not mean you can't promote your web pages via email. That's the whole point of Feedburner (Google owns Feedburner) is promoting your site to people that subscribe to your sites email list. Your not promoting Adsense in an email, your promoting a web page on your site that can include Adsense.

Unsolicited emails means the people on your email list didn't subscribe to your email list, you would have had to create a fraudulent email list, which will get you into trouble with the Feds in the US.

Anyways, my email list are all traffic that opted into my email list, I'll still be promoting my site via Feedburner/email as long as Feedburner exist.

Your email list doesn't have to be a Feedburner list, it does need to be an email list that voluntarily opted into the same email list from your site. Example, don't build an email list on a recipe site, then blast them with emails from a mortgage site. That would be an unsolicited email.

Perhaps not what you are looking for, but: I kept wondering why you want to do adsense? You clearly know how to build, maintain and use a list. Why not team up with one or more people who dont, but have products to move. Might be a lot more profitable for all involved.

Thank you for your post Sharpen, but just like I said before,my website is from another country and language, making almost impossible finding a product in CLICKBANK or any other affiliate marketing website,I do want to build a product for my website in the future.

Also my website has average 900 visits per day, maybe after collect 1k e-mail and achieve at least 3k visits per day I would start thinking in make a product.

              Thanks!

On bigger projects, I feel like your time would be better spent monetizing with a more profitable method... building that email list is great, but if you're only sending them back to click on AdSense, most of the time you're leaving a lot on the table.

If it's a physical product niche, that's one thing... it may not be worth your time/effort/resources to go beyond being an affiliate... however, taking a look at the AdSense ads that show up can be useful when it comes to monetizing more effectively overall.

On the other hand, there's 52 weeks in a year, I can schedule/bump old evergreen blog post to automatically send out new Feedburner emails once a week for an entire year all on auto-pilot (free repeat traffic, free money). No work once the Adsense site is established.

25 email optin per 900 traffic is pretty darn good IMO, that's almost 3% optin rate.

Personally I wouldn't worry about what Google thinks as long as your email optins are from the same site & your trying to be legit.

Google is pretty smart about tracking traffic. If your email traffic is viewing multiple pages on the same domain (original domain where they opted into email list) that shows Google the traffic is legit & interested in your site (targeted traffic).

Crappy traffic would most likely bounce as soon as they land on the first page.

I haven't tried to see what my own email bounce rate is but my Google Analytics data says I get 7 page views for every unique traffic (all traffic sources), it's been hovering around 7 page views for a few years.

Thanks a lot for your help Yukon,I spent the last 2 hours reading on the internet, basically no one can tell if it is DANGER or NOT use e-mail list to send traffic to the website with adsense ads.

I guess the best way to do that is using a landing page without adsense ads

Email marketing is terrific. You used to ba able to include ads using
              feeds.

I mentioned unwanted just to tip you off about emailing people.
You have to master the art of spamming without spamming.

Even if people sign up for your list, what does the normal person
expect as far as number of emails and content? If you go overboard,
              who knows.

I target specific people with my emails. Send them to a page that
is geared for them. The page is like a directory filled with links to
pages within the site that are geared for those people. Looks like
a web portal. Then any click on that page goes to an adsense page.

So I am in fact, email marketing with adsense. I don't even use an email list.
I shall not divulge my secret for gathering emails. Let's just say I
have mastered the art of spamming without spamming.

IMHO, it is much better to send email visitors to a page that is NOT
a sales page. Much more easier to fly under the radar.

Probably target emails is the best way of getting targeted visitors.
              If done right.

I should also reiterate my first comment to go in conjunction with
Yukon. They don't like a large number of visitors coming from emails.
Large numbers should be translated as "big majority." If you get
500 visits a day, and 450 are from emails, who knows. If you get
5,000 a day and 450 are from emails, I think that's within reason.
But it probably is spread out over days.

I should also mention that I do send people directly to an adsense
page from email. The ratio is about 5 indirect to 1 direct.

I'm thinking maybe taking out ads from the archive pages, them e-mail my list once a week sending them to the archive pages with at least 3 different links to 3 different pages with adsense ads.

Email list--> archive(no ads) --> page with ads

What you guys think about that ?

No offense but your over complicating email traffic & Adsense.

No matter what your monetizing with, for every extra click you force your traffic to make, traffic drops off.

Send email traffic to the content pages that your trying to promote.

I send my email traffic directly to my Adsense pages, where my content is. Been doing this for years, no problems.

No need to be paranoid with a legit email list.
