Written and/or Video Content

If I had a written review about a product as well as a video review of the same product on my website, would Google see that as duplicate content?

Agree with @TheProgrammer. That should not cause any issue. In fact, many people do that so that people who doesn't want to read text, they can watch the video quickly.

Yep, I do this for exactly this reason and it hasn't affected me. It seems ok to do

Hey Rob,

Just make sure that if you are posting a YouTube video on your website that you do not copy the text of your page to the YouTube video description and you will be fine.

That is not duplicate content at all. It is actually a good way to get a wider audience in many cases.

There is no way that google can see a video and a text as duplicant content. people do it all the time, even newscaster sites.
