I am done making my new website.
I just want to ask this simple question.

How many backlinks per day should I do for this website?

    Backlinks is very useful for your website for more visitos. if you make more backlinks you may get more visitors. I give everyday 25 backlinks for my site. You can give 25 or more.

      Hi Mike, I couldn't agree more! I just wanted to expand on which links match the criteria of good links. Those should be relevant and high PR links - absolutely. It also matters what you use as an anchor - if you use anything at all. Looks like the best way to go these days is a naked URL. If you have anchors anyway, it might be worth cutting down on commercial keywords.

    Hello friend, Backlinks for a website are very important, because they increase the visibility & popularity of your website. But you need good quality backlinks for your website to rank it higher.

    Is there any quantity limit for it? So if it is good backlinks, any amount per day will do?

    In start instead of getting many links in my view try to find out high authority websites which can give you contextual backlinks that is a good idea... for new websites...

    For your new website you should create backlink from High PR sites.It will increase your website PR gradually.you are right getting backlinks from your top competitors will help you and your website immensely, but they are very tough to obtain.

    Try submitting to major directories such as DMOZ and other niche directories. This should help you greatly in the long run. Also edit the meta tags and description on your home page and other important pages and use relevant keywords in them. Hope this helps.

    For new site, the link velocity should be taken one step at time or slowly. Build links from different types of authority websites - wiki, web 2.0s, blogposts, HPBL, video, article directory,etc. Google can easily see or index those links coming from the sites with higher authority.

    Set your backlink throttle to something low for a weekly basis. Just make sure you get plenty of high PR links (3-5) to your site with focused anchor text (money keywords). The other links can be random anchor text (diversified) and try and obtain those links from pr1-3 sites.

    You will watch your rankings improve quickly with this method

          Right, no point in trying to be "consistent" as that isn't natural. If it was, any website/web page that went viral would be a horrible thing rather than the great (but very difficult to get) thing that it is.

          People are always looking for something new. If a new site is created, and it's good, who's to say that it might not get a huge surge of backlinks from the word being spread through social networking? Forget numbers, just work on trying to get "good" backlinks, by whatever means you can.

    There is no quantity limit. But start building back links to a reasonable number per day that you can continue everyday and can manage to build. You may follow like blog posting 5-10 per day, forum posting 10-20 per day, social bookmarking 10-20 per day, directory submission 10-20 per day. You don't need to adopt every link building technique, just use some according to your knowledge..

    Quality Maters more than quantity so do not concentrate on making maximum backlinks to your website but concentrate on making quality backlinks.
    Your 2 quality backlinks are equivalent to more than 50 poor backlinks.

    I wouldn't suggest you to get 30 backlinks per day even they are quality backlinks, if your website is just built.
    First create the site and wait for it to get indexed by Google "naturally". Then make some posts and after two weeks start building some quality links.

    Doesn't matter how many links you build (talking quality links), odds are Google won't even find all the links in the same day/week.

    Look at your backlink page Google Cache date, it's probably days/weeks old which is a good indicator of how often the Google bot returns to the backlink page.

    If you are building quality, relevant links manually then you may not be able to build 30 links daily as well.

    So focus on quality mainly I would say.

    While there is no specific limit to how many backlinks you can create, I would err on the side of caution. I would just keep it natural looking. Would you expect a brand new site to get 200 backlinks in the first week? Neither would Google, IMHO. That's my $.02

      Why couldn't a brand new website get 200 backlinks in the first week? Google has no freaking clue what kind of offline, and for the most part what kind of online advertising a business might be doing.

    I typically start with just 1 or 2 a day for the first 2-4 weeks and then add some high pr links. This has worked well for me. Of course the competition of of the keywords you are going after will decide how many links you will need.
