Same IP and links....

Guys,

I have lots and lots of content to use for article submission, however as well as that, I am thinking of blog creation and linking back to my site.... However questions for you all:-

* If I create multiple free Wordpress and Blogger blogs, and linked back to my site all with unique content, will this flag in Google as spam, if I say have 20 free Wordpress blogs and 20 Blogger blogs? Obviously I will look into things like hubpages and Squidoo too.... However I have a lot of quality unique content, and am just concerned that using the same platform will count against me in Google.

Anyone used mutliple free blogs before with unique content and linked them all to their page and got penalised or good rankings before?

It's not so much about the quantity of backlinks but the quality. Since all your blogs will be new and low ranking, they won't count for much.

And since they will all be on the same ip, that will go against you too. A link is a link, as they say, but the higher the quality, the better.

TAKE YOUR TIME with backlinks.. if Google spots that 50 new blogs have sprung up all pointing to a new site, you've done much more harm than good. Google is on the look out for this kind of behaviour. Google also monitors the frequency of backlinks, so too many too soon could damage you too.

You'd be far better off getting backlinks from existing sites. Good luck.
