Ok I posted this but it seems to have disappeared.. my site is new and it's in google but it always seems when I launch a brand new site it takes google like 4 weeks to start getting any organic traffic.. any tips that could speed things up? I used pingler so far, but a month to start getting organic traffic seems like forever since I am on disability..

A month is not that long a time for organic SEO, especially if you are in a niche that has some commercial value.

      • Mc Donalds? LOL No Chance.. I'm a Warrior and I don't mean of this website. I mean a "Warrior Of God", I know the truth, I know what I'm worth and I don't settle for less.

Getting rich all starts in the mind, I think most people feel making a lot of money sounds impossible.. it's not, I know a bunch of people who are totally "unemployable" from working on the internet.

J.O.B. = Just Over Broke in most cases.. I won't be working at walmart anytime soon.. just gotta stay strong until things take hold.

Doing wordpress for like 5 years daily making websites, not doubtful, really just bummed out cause I been through this process before.. just reaching out to see if anyone might know a better way to get some buzz going about a site that is free to signup to..

That's why it's a good idea to have multiple sites in the same niche. Build an authority site & build as many smaller same/similar niche sites with links from the authority site ranking the smaller sites/pages. Repeat...

Probably a good idea, also a private network of sites.

I personally believe relevancy is over rated, its not really possible for Google to say oh that sites football and the other is flying. Relying on a computer to decide if this ranks because of them metrics wouldnt work it would provide lots of false results.

The whole point of Google Search is categorizing web pages, so I'm sure they can figure out the difference between the root + LSI keywords for both football & flying. That example might not be the best comparison considering a football spends 1/2 it's time in the air, air is related to flying.

Relevancy does help rank new domain web pages. I have an old authority site I use for ranking new domain/pages, those new domain pages trail the authority site web pages in the SERPs without spending a lot of time building links. A link from the authority site/s & simply mentioning the same keyword or a variation of the authority site keyword goes a long way for ranking the new domain/pages.

Piggybacking off a relevant authority site makes branching off to other sub-niches easier for ranking new domain/pages.

Example, authority site targets the root keyword homeowners insurance, build a new site/domain targeting the root keyword home repair (piggybacking off the authority sites keyword - home). Now say you want to build a home refinancing site, piggyback off the homeowners insurance + home repair sites (piggybacking off the authority sites keyword - home)...

Now take all (3) of those sites & promote those sites across the entire network of sites, passing targeted traffic back & forth from one site to the next. Direct targeted traffic + backlinks.

Authority sites make SEO a lot easier.

These things take time, all it means is move onto the next site till you starting to get traffic or build up your current site to be even better.

Really, There only been a few cases that I've seen without a link network to get your site indexed faster.

      Good luck!

    Internetmarketingrocks,

yes you could try Hubpages.com or a Squidoo lense.

I found I received a lot of free traffic from hubpages, Google seems to rank the pages on their really well.

Also blogger.com, does rank really well with Google.

    Hope this helps

Seriously, if your going to even start with SEO give it months, I've just ranked a new keyword at pos 1 in 2 Months, but it doesn't mean you will.

I agree a month is not long at all for SEO, expecially if your going for competitive keywords. In fact, some keywords I go for take 2,3 months or more, others a few weeks. That's the thing about Google, it works in it's own way. All you can do is keep working at it and be patient but there is no quick fix or fast way to get ranked. It's a long term investment.

I wonder if the link in your sig (is that the site you're touting in this thread?) isn't penalised now forever and a day in the big G. Checking archive org throws up http://www.income247.com/ as an old connector. OK, that goes way back, but there are other signs that your domain may be tainted.

All that aside - like folks have pointed out above, it's gonna take beyond a month to get a domain established and getting traffic, usually (if only using SEO).

Here's a snapshot of a site I've gotten up to EUR 2000 per month through this year. Notice the month on month doubling of traffic (well, initially lol). I take these sites steady. I build them over this amount of time. Sometimes I think I'm being too heavy handed. Sites should grow profitable over months / years. They take work, content, outreach and backlinks worthy of them. In my case, I like to think it's the content - suitably marketed to a specific audience.
