You can still do well with Adsense. As you know Google has changed quite a bit so it is a good idea to keep up with the changes so that you can develop a dynamic site that can rank well for your niche/keywords. Content freshness and keyword optimization do play a very important role! Be sure to check out the Adsense/PPC/SEO board for some excellent detailed threads regarding seeing success with Adsense-oriented sites.

I know some internet marketer who still makes a killing with adsense, but for me.. a BIG NO!

I got my account shut-down without a warning and with the google algo that constantly changes, no no no...

It depends if you have a high volume of traffic then it can be profitable and constant. Its simple if your making $10 a day every day right now, you need more traffic, clicks, optimization. Work towards $15 per day etc

As a matter of fact, Adsense+Adword is Googles primary income source.
