How Does Google Treat Multiple Links Created from the Same Page?

You will get the most value from one link, right? But 1 link, even if it is to the homepage, giving the site a bit more authority, won't make a big difference if you're trying to spread the link juice evenly around the site.

How many backlinks do you think are too many, if they come from one page (homepage of a PR3/4 domain) and point to several inner pages (money site)?

This is in terms of backlink value and safety/a potential penalty, particularly if the PR 3/4 domain only has a few pages of content to its name.

PR is divided by OBL - 15% net

I think I'm just going to place one link per site. This is primarily for safety reasons, but also because I'm seeing Google give websites with a higher DA better rankings lately. One link from a PR4 site instead of being divided by 10 sounds like if would have a much more positive effect on DA.

You should ask yourself, what works better to rank?

      - 1 link from a PR3 domain with only 1 OBL
      - 15 links from PR3 domains with 15 OBL
      - 40 links from PR4 domains with 40 OBL

I know for sure that 15 or 40 links beat the single PR3 link, despite the 1 OBL and the fact that it passes the same amount of link juice.

I think what you mentioned is different to what I'm talking about. I'm not saying 15 links from 15 different PR3 domains, all with 15 OBL. I'm talking about 1 link from 1 PR3 domain, rather than 15 links from 1 PR3 domain.

I know, I just give you something to think about.
