How To check Dead Links??

I am a little confused about your question but I think I have a small clue what you mean.

If you have firefox browser or explorer, if you link works there then it is fine.

If you see the "sales page" or what ever you are promoting then it is working.

Forgive me if I got your question wrong.

My question is that how to check working sites.

I have 6000 bookmarking pligg sites list.. but many of it doent work?

So how can i check working sites..
