effect of copied contents on seo ??

hello all
just want to ask a questions about seo

I created a movie reviews blog and in this blog i will post reviews of every movies from few other site means in every post maximum content will be copied content 50-60 words from each site than the link of that site for full review.
will this copied content will effect my blog's seo ???????


please guide me

    If you just copy and paste the content, that will be counted as copied and it will affect your rankings/ SEO work. The best way is to use the content from some other reviewers and then expand the content in your own words, I think thats what many site do and still rank well.

    HI mate I guess that will be acceptable if you are pulling that information automatially.. but you will need to add another 500 odd words to each .

    IMDB will probably dominate just about all movie keywords. That's probably where your scraping content (IMDB), am I right?

      Copied content is not at all good for SEO. If you use any kind of auto-blog software then you need to re-write the articles manually before publishing. Try to make the content at least 90% unique so that it doesn't affect SEO.

      I use an auto-blog plugin but i rewrite the content before publishing so that it's unique in the eyes of search engines.

    Won't you be able to use a RSS content? Just copying, it would be harmlful. If you want to do this at least try rewriting it...
