Content on Homepage

Hello,

Does anyone here know of a website that uses content on a homepage for SEO purposes, in which it drops down when a user clicks on something at the end of it such as "Read more..." Instead of having the "Read more..." link to another page though, it just simply drops down.

If you do know of this, do you know what it's called? Have a website as an example?

Trying to find a way to get content on a homepage that is image dense without redesigning the site.

That's probably implemented with Javascript. You'll need to do a simple Google search for web design tricks for implementing content drop down. You can also use it in conjunction with infinite scrolling.

All you have to do is search for FAQ pages, a lot of them have questions that expand with the answer. It doesn't have to be a homepage to see an example.

Example:
- https://onlycoin.com/support/faq/
Yes, all that drop down text in the example shows up as plain text:
- Google Cache (text version)
This is a good example why I laugh at people that freak out over hidden text in other forum threads, they assume because they're spammers the rest of the world is spammy (wrong).
