The Easiest Way To Build Links Is To...
  1. Search eZineArticles.com and goArticles.com for your desired ranking keyword i.e. "weight loss"
  2. Do an exact search in Google for a phrase in the article. Copy/ Paste the phrase into Google with quotes around the text.
  3. This will give you a list of blogs/ sites that have turned to an outside source (eZineArticles.com and goArticles.com) for the content on their site.
  4. Make sure that the pages within the site are being indexed. If the pages are not indexed then the links on the pages CANNOT be counted or pass any page reputation.
  5. Contact the site owner/ webmaster and offer them your high quality articles to post on their site in exchange for a link back to your site with desired anchor text.
Ok, this is a great way to get links... BUT it is manual. Is there a program that I can get to automate the process and tell me what articles have been duplicated on the internet and is indexed in Google, Yahoo etc. OR does EzineArticles, for example, have a way to tell the most shared articles....

Thanks

Yeah but sites that use content scrapped off other site do not have any page rank!

I beg to differ thomasr. I have a small number that do have traffic & PR from being updated with scrapped content. You just have to be smart about it. Mix it up.

@thomasr: One would obviously check the PR and other content of the site before contacting the site owner.

@Amenda Jessera: There is no risk in doing this. Links and shared articles are a one way street... to your advantage. Google will never penalize yo if "bad" sites link to you or copy your content. After all they know whos site they indexed with that content first.

This is an easy way to get links pointing to your site.

For one thing I hand enter new posts that come from me. The actual code behind mine vs. scraped is much less. I lot of times it is just touching it differently to make somewhat more unique. It may not be 100% unique but it does not look exactly like to site across the street.

Suppose you have only less backlinks to your website with unique content and someone copied your contents and pasted it on his website. And if he gets more backlinks for that content then your site will not get that much benefit as the scrapper website will get.

i beg to differ also on this. I prefer wirting the articles, submit it to the mentioned directories and let them send me the traffic. contacting site owners, to me is hard. for instance, i wrote and got an article approved on articlesbase.com. few hours after i saw the article on a high traffic site in the same niche. That gave me some traffic and cool adsense cash. i think this is faster. if your article is good, site owneers will get it from good directories and feature it on their front page.
