Linking new site content to google plus ?

For example when a new blog post on a site goes up, is it useful to post that link onto Google Plus even if there's no interaction from other people on your Google Plus account?

I'm guessing if a Google Plus account is not having interaction with other people it might not be so useful?

I wouldn't want it to look spammy to Google. Anyone else have any ideas on this?

You can link it, but before that increase your G+ interaction. If not it's no use to of it. Join related community. And post article in it regularly. It will help.

Actually you should share it on Google Plus, FB and all other social networking sites. It helps in the social quotient of the site which, in turn, helps in the ranking.

You can link to your posts from Google Plus page, just make it in a legitimate way and worth it.
