If starting from scratch one of the easiest things nearly anyone can do is to write about something they can promote on a themed blog. It can be and at least start out as simple as that.

Not sure when this change went into effect but Articlebase now presents an entire page of Adsense ads before you ever see any article content. These pages now look wose than any MFA site I used to...
