What you can do is create a Facebook page and have your affiliate link(s) scattered throughout your page. They also provide a button that people can push within the heading leading to an affiliate video, link etc promoting your product.

I am not sure as to why affiliate links are frowned upon as far as posting them directly leading to bans etc. If they are worried about so called spam, then wouldn't Facebook be considered spam as well. I know it might sound "crazy" but just because Facebook is allowed to be a social media guru, doesn't mean we have to be inundated with constant news stories, articles, forum posts, blog posts, both online and off. It's like Facebook has gone viral totally for free without having to pay for any of this type of FREE advertising. What about all of the smaller Facebooks who do not have this type of propaganda following them. They are left to grind and grind hoping to become just a quarter of what Facebook is. Yet, they allow affiliate links and are more user friendly. Where as Facebook was a lot more user friendly when it first got started, now it has gotten so big that it can make rules as they wish. They have so much money and power now. They have security stacked tighter on spam then they do on actual criminal people who mean to do harm to others for real.

Why don't they allow people to grow there businesses better. Many folks do not have access to the tremendous resources that other companies/people have. You hear about Mr Zuckenberg on the news distributing money to Africa, and many other charitable things. This is all great, but why are affiliate links so frowned upon? Wasn't Facebook considered spam when it first started?

Facebook is absolutely everywhere. Share buttons, like buttons, comment boxes, tweets, texts, word of mouth, and all because 3 people in college decided they wanted to make a little social network. With all the naughty posts within Facebook, shouldn't this be not allowed in anymore? I would crack down on that more than affiliate links. That naughty adult garbage has got to go and needs to be ended.

You're right. But FB is all about the money, so they will leave everything up (including all the trashy adult posts) and they will hinder anything that gets in the way of their profits: affiliate links.

Just seems that nasty stuff is more bad than affiliate links. They even have racist stuff and other things. But the minute an affiliate link goes up all kinds of alarms, bells, and whistles go up. As if the affiliate links are the worst thing going. What is so bad about affiliate links? They don't need the money anymore so it just can't be about selling ads within there ad platform. You try to sell an ad or affiliate link on Facebook and you get denials, restriction notices, and other types of denials that makes you wonder what is so bad. If I was in charge of marketing, or whatever department handles this, it would not bother me. Maybe I am dumb to the point where I do not see all the things that go wrong about affiliate links, but it would not bother me if a bunch a people tried to make money on my social platform. I would crack down on the porn, racist comments, and other bad behaviours, but affiliate links?... as if people are not smart enough to join or not join a program.

It just seems like we are more spammed with facebook ads and stuff. Meaning articles, tv ads, are forced in our brain when it comes to Facebook. As if there are not other Social media outlets out there that can compete or even surpass them. However since Facebook is spammed all the time, it seems unreasonable.

Not saying Facebook is not a great program, just wondering as we move into the future whether or not things can be more equal. Same goes for Google. Great search engine but why can't other Search engines be as big or even surpass Google. Never understood how they got so big to the point where they can smash all competition, competitors, and make up rules and regulations along the way to make them more favorable. They get a lot of help from media, banks, and partnerships that common folks can only wish to attain.

What platform would you use to post on Facebook. I know Wordpress has some good plugins for social networks including twitter, tumblr, linked in, pinterest etc. You can make good money just posting within the social network utilizing these methods.

Hi, Christyjohnson Johnson That shouldn't be a problem as long as the product is compliant with Facebook advertising policies and facebook wont allow to use direct affiliate link.
This Help Center article will tell you what you can do when your ad isn't approved: https://www.facebook.com/help/215855188432216/?ref=u2u
If you'd like more explanation on why your ad was not approved, you can reach out to the policy team to better understand why and appeal the decision if you believe it was a mistake: https://www.facebook.com/help/contac...75062/?ref=u2u
In the future, I'd recommend check out facebook ad policies for more information on whether or not your ad complies with our guidelines

    Create a landing page.

That landing page can then have links on it that direct to the affiliate offer.

Check out #4 in the link below as it has some information about using a landing page on FB.

There are many ways to earn money from FB pages. You can create your own blog and send your FB traffic on your blog and start earning. If you find it difficult or time consuming in setting up your own site then you can try using affiliate networks like ViralAux.com and many more available in the market. These networks pay you for the traffic which you send on their links. ViralAux is offering around $7 - $16 for every 1000 visitors.
