Does facebook love low converting landing pages?

I am struggling to get Facebook to approve my ad which directs people to my landing page. My landing page is simple. Value statement. (Free) Offer. Call to action (ask for opt-in). I sat on Facebook yesterday and tried to click through as many ads as I possibly could.

It seems that the ads I clicked on - were all to sites that were either selling some service (ex; video creation online) or to pages that are not optimized to convert a visitor into an e-mail list subscriber.

Are you guys having success using high converting landing / squeeze pages to get ads approved on Facebook? Years ago, this was no problem for me. Buy ad, get opt-in, now I don't know if it's me or something else I'm doing wrong or if Facebook has changed the way they approve ads

Your insights are greatly appreciated!

It's tough when they don't tell you why an ad has not been approved.

So, it may be the ad itself and/or possibly the LP.

Sounds like you're doing the right thing by looking at what IS getting approved at the moment.

Facebook want landing pages that convert. They give you the option to optimise on fb pixel conversions. Very powerful.

I would get a hold the latest ad guidelines, as vague as they are, and then change up the ad first to see if that's the prob.

  • During the advert review process, they will check your advert's images, text, targeting and positioning, in addition to the content on your advert's landing page. Your advert may not be approved if the landing page content isn't fully functional, doesn't match the product/service promoted in your advert or doesn't fully comply with their Advertising Policies.
Before posting any ad in the Facebook Recheck the Landing page is it related to your product otherwise they won't approve.
