Facebook Not Allowing Headline Change for Facebook Likes Campaign?

As the title indicates - I'm running a Facebook PPC campaign and it won't allow me to change the bolded headline - only add what I regard a 'subheading'.

Basically, the top utmost heading is the Facebook like page name, the grey smaller heading and description is as I choose. I'm willing to bet it's the reason why I am getting such a poor CTR.

Any ideas?

Thanks

13,000 impressions, all different images, across 6 separate ads - ZERO clicks.

Any ideas to increase CTR guys?

    Same here, lets discuss

I used to have way better experience with facebook ads.

    20.555 impressions - 1 click - Click-through-rate 0.001%

Ive tried 15+ different images/colors/texts. And also verry narrow targeted.

I'm pretty convinced that something big has changed? These stats i see popping up everywhere are frightning

They changed that recently and it sucks! Hopefully they're just testing and they'll go back to the way it was before. But 13,000 impressions and no clicks? That can't be all the headline. Sounds like your targeting may be off, unless all those images are terrible.

My targeting is definitely NOT off.

I've tried targeting a lower age group (20+) and a higher age group (40+) and not a single click - all in a niche in which they would find the ad copy interesting.

Thanks for the info - what are you doing now though? To combat this new change..

Unless you're referring to the advanced options link (which does not affect the headline).. I don't see the icon? Whereabouts is it?

    simple solution:

page post engagements ==> target custom Facebook Groups

it might be your offer? can you share more info? such as the offer page and your call to action?

feel free to inbox me if you don't feel comfortable posting that info here

make sure once you hit on the bold headline, below the photo, that you change the text. if you hit it and not do anything and try to go back and change it it wont let you. maybe a bug. your best bet is to cancel the ad, refresh and try it again.

    hope this helps.

You brought back a post that's a year old. I'm pretty sure he's figured it out already.
