Is Google Plus worthless?

It's the same in most niches. FB and Twitter rule, G+ brings at best low traffic.
it's definitely not worth resources spent on it.

Well in theory traffic from Google Plus should be very good but if this traffic do not give high position in google it seems that this traffic is not enough good

Don't share post all people of your circle. you want search niche target people and then share with them.

Not the right time to fully dedicate resoources on Google+ as most people ...even those websmasters who use it are still not familiar with how it works. Google is mysterious and it is killing the very idea of social communication and sharing by restricting to so many conditions

in my experienced Google+ has been a great help not only in getting more traffic but also a social networks that will help you standout your media profile.

The only thing worse than Google Plus is the commentary in this thread.

I myself am not on Google+ actively but it must be said that it probably isn't going away due to Google's power and domination. I wouldn't be spending any money on the platform right now but I would guess that it's importance will grow.

In my opinion worth of Google + is low because of low traffic but one should not loose focus on this, espcially this is the best platform that helps in seo ranking and secondly after Google loosing to facebook on whats app deal, they are doing everything possible to market google plus.

so those who are promoting themselves on this platform will get first mover advantage and surely it will bounce and do well.

No, Google plus is the boss social media site if you can utilize it.

Some of by keyword has ranked in google only for google plus. I am getting decent amount of traffic from those keywords. And those are organic traffic. Is it worthless?

No.

If you're building relationship with other people (especially in your business), Google Plus is a worth it site to start with. You can join to a lot of communities around your niche then start looking for people who might be interested to visit your website/buy your products etc.

You can add them (just like on Facebook) in your circle of friends so in away it's more easier for you to chat with them than sending emails.

It's not worthless there are 2 ways to use it to crush it with traffic...first is to blog...build a niche focused circle and use authorship...you'll tend to show in the serp results of the people connected to you when they are looking for stuff as long as they are logged into Google.

The next ways is to start creating targeted circles of people who share similar interest ...they don't even have to circle you back and you can still share interesting stuff you find with them.

I'm sharing this because I'll hope you'll keep it white hat and if I'm being honest, there are a few obvious things I'm leaving out that more experienced warriors will probably notice.

The whole point of social media marketing is to develop influence...with that sales will usually come and traffic too. G+ is awesome if you use it right

It'll take some time, if you don't have the time...that's what paid traffic is for...(Google remarketing anyone?)

If you want to crush it with G+ you have to share stuff (more than just your stuff and promotions (think 60% other peoples 20% cool interesting stuff like .gif an funnies... you can find a lot on img.ur and 20% your stuff with a mix of content and promotional)

No worthless man....i have listen from blogger and many SEO expert ..website having Google plus share and follower is very well treated by Google in ranking....So it's not worthless at least it's Google product then why Google won't take it count...

I guess it depends what kind of traffic you're looking for.

I find that the traffic coming from G+ converts MUCH better than the Facebook or Twitter traffic.

The communities in Google+ are much more focused and engaged.

Of course, if you spam these groups with crap, you'll get crap traffic.

Every social media websites needs regular updates and posts and so does Google Plus. The traffic estimation might be low because you are not putting much effort on it but if you are doing good posts, following people, creating circles and using proper hash tags then you will surely get benefits from Google+. The traffic might be low but sharing on Google+ is helpful in some way.
