So I am thinking about getting into PPV and am told I will need a VPS. Will be using the Lead Impact Network for traffic. Can anyone suggest what the bare minimum I might need in a VPS would be. Would like Cpanel of course. I have a shared hosting account here now and like the service.

I PM'd him 3 times (not twice as I originally said). On 2nd June; 5th June (friendly reminder); 14th June; and the post to which 'inheritance' replied, on 21st June. 'Inheritance' may well be happy with the support he has received, but that doesn't prove much by itself.
No return communication has been received by me about this except from 'inheritance'.
Anyway - it's academic now, as I have signed up with someone else

I am not sure I can answer your question because I do not have any experience with the software you mentioned. The nice thing about VPS is that it is easy to upgrade. Start with 1 slice and then add more as you need it.

I generally don't write reviews on Hosting offer.But Interserver is suitable for me
Very reliable hosting and pretty good supportive staff.
I purchased VPS server from Interserver.
It's been nearly 20 Days. No Downtime and any glitches.

I definitely recommend VPS hosting. Other Hosting offers I don't know.

Hope I will stay with Interserver for long period of time.

Ok, I am usually VERY considerate of web interfaces, but yours is inexcusable in 2014!

1) First, I can't find how I should sign up in all the mind blowing clutter and in your face design. So I click on the "sign up now" button in the slider... surprise, it takes me to root domain.

2) Finally I do find it through the link on the right. Next step: i need to register a domain??? So I enter my domain I already have and fill a HUGE form (is this even necessary), put in the warrior discount (thankfully it works)... and go to the next step...

3) AGAIN I have to fill the SAME huge form (why not copy it over)???

4) I click on the paypal link (finally)

5) I have to "activate my account" before even paying you? SERIOUSLY?

Too bad of an interface, disappointed that it should be this tough in 2014.

This is meant to be a negative opinion, your interface can be way better for a host, that's the point.

Interserver sound like the perfect place for our domains . . . I know you're repeating yourself but I want to make sure that, if I try it and like it, I'm not moving all my sites again in a year 'cause of a huge price increase. So . . if I want to try out the server, and I use the $1.99/month coupon, and sign up for 6 months, at the end of the 6 months, I can continue, month to month, or year to year, or whatever, at $1.99/month? And, if I need help migrating a site from Bluehost over to Interserver, you can help with that?

Just following up . . . after I wrote the above, my boss decided to just go ahead and try interserver.net, figuring the worst thing that could happen was he could lose $12.00 or so. (He signed up for 6 months; just in case there was a problem with the coupon or service,he wanted the time to work it out with customer support, give it a real try.

<---- This part has now been edited. When my boss signed up, there was some confusing stuff having to do with registering a domain name. He selected the NO box but was charged $11.00 anyway. He sent an email to the "contact" address and, though he got the automated reply, it didn't show up as a ticket and no other response came. We put in an official "ticket" this morning and, within a couple of hours, the $11.00 was refunded to our PayPal account. That's the kind of customer service we like!

The coupon worked for the 6 months thing; we'll see how it goes at renewal time. One thing about the servers; we've transferred a couple of sites over there and there have been no problems and the sites, email included, are responding pretty quickly, at least faster than Bluehost!

Renewals will be for exactly the same rate you signed up for. We do not change the prices on renewals.

I have reviewed your transfer request. Our technical staff stated many times we would not be able to transfer your MySQL database because your old host is using the Kloxo control panel. We would only be able to FTP the files.

Richie311, The warrior199 coupon is reserved so you would not get credit for the sale. The same way the coupon you create would only give you credit for the sale. Also the $1.99 per month deal here is way to low to pay any commissions on.

Our technical staff stated many times we would not be able to transfer your MySQL database because your old host is using the Kloxo control panel. We would only be able to FTP the files.
