while you only get 1 cpanel login. you can have as many websites on it as you like. your 2nd domain/site will just point to a sub folder such as /public_html/domain2/

To order a private IP you would need to open a ticket with us after your initial order. Its not possible to do it during the signup process automatically.

Well, I've been with InterServer for almost two months now and I figure it's about time that I get back in here and say something. They certainly deserve it.

I've got nothing but praise for these guys.

I'm not one who normally needs technical support —I figure out my problems on my own— but I'll admit that I have run into a few things that I couldn't solve lately by myself. InterServer's support is top-notch. They really go the extra mile and they take care of issues fast.

And the support is not the only aspect of InterServer that is fast. If you've read through this whole thread, you have seen many times about their servers being fast. I can attest to that. Just to give you an idea; on a slow day, my WordPress blog loads in well under two seconds.

In case you're worried about the price; this is not a "get what you pay for" service. So don't let the low price fool you. InterServer easily ranks right up there with big dogs, like HostGator and BlueHost.

I have been looking into several VPS or Reseller options, and had a few quick questions;

If I currently have several domains (17) and wanted to keep each site seperate (as opposed to hosting them as "add ons" or "sub domains" (as I did on a HostGator's business plan) - do you recommend VPS or the reseller package?

Right now, I have very little traffic, as I shut my sites down (with Hostgator) to restructure my long-term business plan... So, I will like start developing 2-3 WordPress sites immediately.

I am definitely leaning toward VPS or Reseller...

But, do you include back-ups, site-lock, SSL certificates, privacy, etc???

As most hosting providers charge for each add on seperately.

Lastly, one of my domains is to become a paid membership, whereby I would like to include 1 year of free basic hosting...

If I go with the reseller account, and offered 1 year of free (limited) hosting plans to my paid members... I would pay only $2 per I.P.s (per user) and would like to grant users their own cpanel access... So, am I correct to assume each member would cost $2 per month extra with a basic hosting package?

To date, I was planning on using WiredTree's SSD VPS for $55 per month, but your offer seems a good deal more economical.

I'm starting clean. Fresh WP builds, for each of my domains. What's the best solution to keep each domain seperate as opposed to doing "add ons" or "sub-domains" from the options you offer?

Reseller might be a good direction to go in. Some advantages to reseller package vs VPS would be backups, security/maintenance, mail delivery guarantee, and 1 click script installs are already included and maintained by us.

Reseller plans start at $19.95 per month and include 80gb of space.

A 2 Slice VPS would cost $12 per month + cPanel for $10 per month total of $22.

We do not partner with sitelock. For CDN/Filtering we partner with CloudFlare.
We sell SSL for $10 a year.
Whois privacy is $3 a year.

With reseller accounts you can create an unlimited number of cPanel logins without any additional cost. If you wanted a dedicated IP address the cost is $2 per month but this is optional.

Share on: Well, I've been with InterServer for almost two months now and I figure it's about time that I get back in here and say something. They certainly deserve it. I've got nothing but praise for these guys. I'm not one who normally needs technical support —I figure out my problems on my own— but I'll admit that I have run into a few things that I couldn't solve lately by myself. InterServer's support is top-notch. They really go the extra mile and they take care of issues fast. And the support is not the only aspect of InterServer that is fast. If you've read through this whole thread, you have seen many times about their servers being fast. I can attest to that. Just to give you an idea; on a slow day, my WordPress blog loads in well under two seconds. In case you're worried about the price; this is not a "get what you pay for" service. So don't let the low price fool you. InterServer easily ranks right up there with big dogs, like HostGator and BlueHost.
