to get the name servers. login to my.interserver.net and click on manage next to the web hosting package. on the front page you will see the name servers that you are supposed to use.

Yes those would be your name servers. Sometimes they are different depending on what server you are on.

I am very confused. You stopped hosting with us in 2014. You wrote a few positive and negative reviews about us on this same thread on 21st Oct 2014, 02:53 AM. We did not complain its still there as i appreciate feed back. The domain name you had hosted with us is not even registered or online any more.

These people run around here complaining because they have multiple names and want to hurt people so they do better.

I have been with you a long time, over a year, never had a problem with the server or site. I think my login name is nick.savage@gmail.com, always perfect service and for the price great, I have had a vps in the past and now shared.

Hotlinkz, Autoresponder plugin does not sound like a problem at all. Web hosting accounts would have no limitations on this. Just double check the plugin you use actually supports Elastic or SES.

SO, HERE WE ARE...

First of all, ALWAYS back up your data ESPECIALLY just prior to doing a migration!

Secondly, at the bottom of the cPanel is Softaculous Apps Installer. Under Categories: click on Social Networking. You're taken to a huge collection of downloads available from Softaculous. The 2nd one listed is Oxwall. Download, install, and then migrate. Once migrated, then test, test, test.

Only when testing is complete and satisfactory, then re-point to the new server.

The new site should have no bearing on the old site. The old site should remain available if there are unforeseen problems with the new site. I really can't place the blame on a "hosting service".

Somebody quite obviously didn't know what they were doing. I tend to take your posts lightly now. Out of the same mouth is flowing sweet and bitter, and it's really irritating.

If you're used to installing and setting things up (as you have said), then I tend to believe the problem is you.

Nothing has changed with my stance on InterServer, or Mike, nor his support team. I think they are all still great, wonderful, competent, and quite up to speed in their knowledge AND timeliness.

What has changed is that I see Mike is going places with InterServer and they are no longer a status quo Bluehost or HostGator shop. I am seeing so may more offerings lately, that I'm quite impressed!

There seems to be an issue with Amazon SES and cPanel:

"We setup Amazon SES as the default route for emails on a server with WHM/cPanel (not hosted on EC2). When we send mails using PHP, everything seems to be working fine - Amazon correctly delivers those mails to the recipients.

However, when we use an email forwarder created on cPanel, the server tries to forward emails going to that email forwarder account using Amazon, but Amazon rejects due to the From field not being from a recognizable source."

Woo commerce has no idea how much your paying for hosting so it should run fine. If you have a very busy site its a good idea to upgrade to VPS.

For VPS the only promotion i have right now is coupon springhosting. It will allow you to buy a slice for the first month for only $.01.

I am having one hosting with you and noticed that your resource limits are higher than my other hosting. i am sure whatever limits are imposed by your current hosting company will be greater with us. But on shared hosting we cannot increase past our limits. For more resources the answer would be VPS.

Yes, your limits are greater with lower cost than my current hosting. I have already created the hosting account and shifted to yours for my wife. I have paid yearly. I will be in for very long term if there are no major issues from here on. So far I love the kind of support and response from your team. I will not hesitate to upgrade to VPS in future if such requirements arises.

And I am still with them. They go out of their way to help me. The only reason I see for them messing up someone's site's is because the person is using spam or underhanded tactics. Maybe they are hosting a 100 youtube sites and streaming their own videos.

It is a shared server so treat it as one. I myself do not want bandwidth hogs on my shared server, it hurts me and everyone else on there.
