Hi guys,

Kindly help me to sort out the navigation issues with this site: cubettech.com. The bounce rate is alarming and i need some suggestions to give back to my client.

    Hi alex,
    I tried to open cubettech.com it load time of website is more than 20sec. You must install the cache plugin that reduce the bounce rate or advice the client to switch to VPS server.That will we beneficial for to maintaining bounce rate.

    Thanks a lot Kevin i really appreciate your suggestion, however, what i would like to ask you is that whether you felt as if the site is a single page one? actually the site comes with several inner pages but there is only one link from the header that leads to the inner pages, that is really something that has been causing a large bounce rate i believe, what do you think of this?

    I agree, the loading is slow. Takes a while for anything to load. That is probably the biggest problem. Could be the theme your using as well.

    Also, not surprising the bounce rate is high, the first full screen tells very little, it does little selling and not much to grab the visitors so they read on. First thing is to start a project. Start a project for what? Why do I need to start a project? What is a project? You need to tell them what the site is first, give them the benefits or why they should sign up or use the site.

    More importantly, the way it's set up and showing on my screen, doesn't look like there is even more to the site, most people probably think that is all there is, so they bounce. This is brought on by having the menu where it is, it shows at the bottom of my screen.

    Hi Ron,

    Thanks a lot for your valuable insights, we are currently planning on revamping the site, maybe incorporate a new theme, I will definitely consider these suggestions then. Once again thanks a lot.

    How long on average do people spend on your site? And what is your bounce rate?

    Bounce rate of this site is around 50 to 55% and most often the time calculation is zero since people interact with the home page alone. However, on an average, people spend around two minutes on the site.
